Little gem in the west of Crete, at the bottom of the road to Balos! Property is situated on the front of the sea, with beautiful view of the sea, very well maintained, with pool and sun loungers, big covered terrace for breakfast and admiring the view, peaceful location, no touristic crowds feeling, perfect for exploring western Crete beaches. Thank you Irini and Zacharia for making our stay comfortable and unforgettable! Breakfast is very good and the morning coffee unbeatable! Will recommend to those who are looking for a tranquil and serene location! Will definitely come back!

One of the best places I stayed on a holiday. It is right in front of an amazing beach. The beach is almost like a private beach. There are hardly anyone. It is very close to balos beach as well. The breakfast is amazing.

The location is the main thing as you have a beautiful untouched beach at yoKissamos is a few minutes away with great tavernas and Falassarna Beach is close by. Those hoping to see Balos and Gramvousa couldn't ask for a better location.

The hosts at this beautiful beachfront location have been absolutely fantastic, always available and looking to fulfil any requests. The premises are kept super clean, with daily cleaning of the apartments and change of sheets/towels every other day. Both the pool and dining area are cleaned on a daily basis. The breakfast provided contains both traditional and continental dishes as well as fresh fruit, pastries, cereal and yoghurt. In contrary to some of the comments below, getting a 2nd coffee at breakfast has not been an issue at all. In addition, coffee, bottled soft drinks, beer, wine, ice cream, snacks as well as spirits are available to purchase during the day. The hosts are not only working hard but also supporting their local community by using the products of a local bakery and the services of a laundrette and gardener, who keeps the ground immaculate with the beautiful flowers. During our 8 night stay in early July, there was a special visitor on the beach, in form of a turtle, who no doubt came to lay some eggs on the beach and we saw evidence of others also coming ashore. Special thanks to Irini (Irene), it has been an absolute pleasure to get to know you. Massive thanks to all for your help with ordering a birthday cake on short notice.

We enjoyed our holiday and would definitely recommend the accommodation to friends. Super quiet place near beautiful beaches. I liked the cleanliness of the accommodation, they even washed our dishes once. Only breakfast could have been served earlier :)

Viglia Beach Hotel is an exquisite hidden gem. The hosts are incredibly wonderful, kind, and always there to assist.The hotel is impeccably clean, well-equipped, and offers a cosy, comfortable room with a mega comfy bed. The lovely pool, overlooking the stunning beach, added to the charm. Our time there was exceptional, leaving us with unforgettable memories. The noise of the fridge was too loud, we woke up because of the fridge noise several times during the night.

The apartment is located in a quiet area and is very good starting point for exploring the western coast of Crete. The room was comfortable and always very tidy and clean with all equipment we needed. The staff was very kind, friendly, smiling and helpful. The breakfast buffet offered various food (boiled eggs, vegetable, fruit, salami, cheese, yoghurt, pastry and sweet bakery etc.) as well as coffee, tea, juice and water. We really enjoyed our holidays here :-)

Our particular room (#12) had no window so without the airconditioner it was a bit stifling -odd considering that there was a sea breeze in the evening.

The beautiful location and pristine beach are outstanding. Irina and Zacharia work hard at making you feel very welcome .The tranquility and sheer beauty make for a truly relaxing experience while the location is perfectly convenient for travelling the west side of Crete .

Air conditioning also in the bedrooms and not only in the living room would have been a nice touch, but if you don't suffer from heat so much and the night sea breeze from the balcony's window is enough, it's totally OK!

The staff was wonderful, welcoming and warm people. The rooms and the public areas were spotless, exceptionally clean! The location is great, quiet, calm, close to the city of Kissamos. For those who wish to travel in the western part of Crete it's perfect due to the proximity of travel to Falassarna, Balos, Kolymvari and more. Great value for money 👍🏼
