Very spacious and new looking apartment with breathtaking views. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, good shower. Location at the beginning of the town, everything can be done on foot. Restaurants nearby, Plakias only a few minutes away by car. Tip: try restaurant Dyonissos only a minute away on foot. Best meal I had this year, ate here 3 times in 5 days !

There is a design flaw so that when it is windy the wind blows over the cooker hood outlet and causes a persistent noise in the flat. The bedroom is up a step which, if you need to use the bathroom in the middle of the night, could be a hazard. No supplies of anything other than the free raki - I cannot believe that people have not left tea, coffee, oil, herbs etc, so the owners are clearly clearing all that out after each stay rather than doing the normal thing of leaving it there for the next guests to take advantage of. Hot water supply not good - think you have to beat the other residents to it in the morning - otherwise your shower is cold.

Fabulous views - the view from the balcony is breathtaking. Free carafe of raki. Well located for the tavernas of Myrthios. Off road parking.

the strong wind that makes a lot of noise, but of course it's not the apartment owner's fault. Just keep in mind that the Plakias area is famous for its winds.

the apartment was new and very clean. Spacious enough, and the view is great. Helpful staff. I would advice to add some facilities as coffee, olive oil and salt&paper. If people stay a few days, why should they buy all these products.

Great large studio, squeaky clean, with a majestic sea view. Relaxed atmosphere: the property is located in a quiet small village, 10 mins by car from the beach. The village has a couple of tavernas, located at a walking distance, if you feel lazy by dinner time :) Otherwise there are many other tavernas in the area, or bars in the nearby village of Plakias. Maria (the owner) was very friendly and helpful, we were welcomed with a gift and a chat even if it was the evening before Easter.

Parking was not always guaranteed as the village was quite small and there were many tourists, so if we returned a little bit later than usual then it was a struggle to find a place. Location was great if you wanted to explore the surrounding local villages and beach resorts like Plakias, but it was quite inconvenient to travel to other main cities in Greece. Heraklion took 1:40 hours and Chania 1:30 hours for example. Additionally, it was quite windy to be able to sit outside on the porch or to go swimming on most days which was apparently normal for the area, so check the weather before booking.

The location was perfect with a nice view of the sea. Maria was available onsite to greet us despite a delay in our flight. She was very accommodating and managed to address all our concerns. We enjoyed having the apartment cleaned and towels replaced despite this being a self-catering accommodation.

Everything was great!

Location was ideal for me as I always look for high up in the hill with a view to the sea but the only problem with the area is the wind which happened to be tooooo strong during this time and we literally didn’t sleep as we felt as if an earthquake was passing by. However, this is not the apartments’ problem more than it is a location of the island 😊

Maria made us a warm welcome and we immediately felt like home. Everything was perfect! The Appartment was extraordinary, especially the beds were the most comfortable ones we ever had in crete. Thank you for everything, Maria and we will sure come back soon!

The view of the apartment is really good, but our stay here was not very pleasant. The room was too noisy, there was constant noise coming from the kitchen hood because of the wind outside. It was hard to sleep with the constant wind noise which made our stay uncomfortable and we had to spend 5 sleepless days here. Given that this region is quite windy most of the season, I think, this is a real disadvantage. This might also have to do with the particular room and side of the building we were staying (which was also confirmed by the host). The service also was not particularly good (e.g. we asked for beach towels which they told they can provide, but they never did; we were not given much flexibility in our arrival time at the hotel, the cleaning was not very frequent, etc.). The view was the best thing about this accomodation, but the rest was just below average.
