“Very hearty welcome; personal touch, great. We arrived late on a Friday evening and with a festival all around Tone's place we struggled to find the exact location, but Tone came to fetch us when we phoned. He also upgraded our booked room with a bed and sofa without extra cost to a very spacious two bedroomed flat when he realised our 40 year old son is with us. His daughter even gave up her bed because she was sleeping there. Tone also introduced us to his delightful granddaughter, whom he obviously adore. We had all the facilities we needed, Wifi, parking etc. and received milk, a big bottle of coke and some snacks as well, apart from the big breakfast the next morning. Trijl is also a very nice location near Split, with cooler mountain air, for those travelling in summer. Tone is right in the middle of the town. Great!!”
