Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

LithuaniaMain drawback was that apartment got very hot. There was air conditioner, but it was loud and in the bedroom which made it hard to get a good sleep at night and we also worried to catch cold from it. No mosquito screens on windows, so when we tried to get some fresh air from outside, we got many hungry blood suckers in the room.
A separate apartment with everything that is needed for a nights stay. Everything was clean, host was friendly. If the weather is not hot, it would have been just fine.

UkraineThe first two nights we fought mosquitoes, they did not react to the Raid fumigator, then we found a spray in the supermarket that repels them. Left all facilities for the next guests) Wi-Fi was sometimes weak in the evenings.
The hostess is very friendly and ready to help. She presented me with a bottle of wine and also allowed me to check out later, which saved our departure day for rest. I liked the balcony in the apartment, the beds were comfortable for sleeping, and the air conditioner worked well. It is very easy to get there without a car, the same bus 37 route goes to the airport, Trogir, and Split.

PolandIf you want to do your laundry, it will cost you €10 per wash, which is very expensive. The air conditioning is only in one room and the air from it does not spread to the area of the other room near the kitchen, and during the 30-degree heat it makes it impossible to have a pleasant stay. It took us about 10 minutes to find the house because it was not clear how to get to it. It is worth mentioning this in the instructions. The blankets were not clean, there was hair, so I decided to sleep without them. For 5 people for 4 days, we were provided with 2 rolls of toilet paper, which is quite ridiculous. They didn't give us garbage bags, and we had to ask for them. The cleanliness of the bathroom is not impressive, and it is very difficult to wash in the shower, because there is very little hot water when you turn the water heater up to the maximum, and there are no problems with cold water. There was no door or any type of normal curtain to the shower, and it was difficult to wash in the shower because the curtain was always open. There was no soap either, so I had to ask for it.
