Such a warm and caring host, haven´t experienced such hospitality in a while, warm welcome, treats (homeade pastries, homemade liqour, homemade easter eggs), tips&tricks, thank you so very much! The apartment is nice, garden is beautiful and cosy, location is also great! Would definitely recommend this place and will return to it!

Nothing really. Everything was amazing.

Our hosts were amazing! It was a quiet little location in walking distance to quite a few things. The beds were comfortable and the shower had good water pressure!

Everything was perfect.

Very well equipped, convenient, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean, good size apartment with a perfect location: the beautiful Rastoke, the river bank as well as bakery, grocery store and restaurants are in walking distance, while Plitvice lakes are only 25 min by car. Aleksandra and Matija are wonderful hosts, very kind and helpful, really easy to reach also prior to arrival and surprised us with delicious liqueur and pancakes as a welcome and amazing apple pie during our stay after a long day of hiking. We plan to visit the same area also in another season of the year some time and will definitely book again this superb apartment, we had such a great time here.

the property brings a combination of modern and traditional Croatian home with cozy furniture and home comfort. It’s located close to the central street of Slunj on a walking distance from Rastoke water mills. Our host was very kind and welcoming, she prepared us home made pancakes and offered sour cherry liqueur.

Everything. First of all, the host were amazing. They made us fresh pancakes and gave as apples from their tree. Also, they helped us understand where to eat and where to buy stuff. The room is super big, clean, and homey. We enjoyed the stay!

Nothing to complain.

The best apartment we stayed during our 10-day holiday in Croatia. The host Alexandra was extremely nice. We came with two kids and arrived late on that day. She waited us and prepared us fruit from her garden and homemade pancake. The fridge was also prepared with milk and juice as breakfast for the next day. The apartment is nicely decorated, fully functioning kitchen and renovated toilets and shower.

We really enjoyed our stay in Apartment Garden in Slunj. The lovely landlady Alexandra pampered us every day with fresh and delicious pastries, homemade cherry liqueur, milk and juice in the fridge and other ingredients she especially prepared for us. Her son Matija welcomed us and in fluent English explained about the place, the hiking options in the area, recommended restaurants, etc. The apartment is equipped with complete kitchenware, very clean and in a great location, a half hour drive from Plitvice lakes and three minutes from the beautiful waterfalls of Rastoke. We highly recommend.

Big apartman with a lot of space, good kitchen facilities (there was everything you need to cook, including oil, salt). Also coffee and tea is available. Very nice and clean bathroom. Good location, 900m from Rastoke, a lot of shops nearby. 25-30 min drive to Plitvice. Very nice hosts, they waited us with prepared local spirit and there was a cold beer and water in the fridge. Aleksandra also brought us fresh, home made cakes and pancakes which were delicious. For our little one was there a prepared baby crib.

weather was awful and we got soaked through. We had no way of drying clothes or walking boots and had no heating. As this was mid September you would not expect the temperature to go to 15 degrees -but it did and I got cold.
