The wifi was weak. I had to use the hotspot on my phone to get a good connection. Also, the listing said there was a sofa bed, which the sofa could have been converted to, but there was no bedding for it. We made do, and we probably could have asked for bedding, but we thought it would be there.

The Hotel is immaculate. The view from the sea side balcony was perfect. The building was very quiet, I never heard noise from other units. The staff were great, friendly, helpful, and informative. Very walkable. There was a lift to get to the reception area, and a lift to get up to the rooms, which was a big selling point for us.

The deluxe double rooms with a sea view on the marketing brochure show an unobstructed view of the ocean. The reality though is different - the rooms face buildings on the other side of the road and is next to a very noisy main road. It does have a sea view, but in between the buildings on the other side. For a deluxe room one would expect 2 chairs or a sofa for guests to sit on in the room- there was however on dining room style chair in the room, but does not provide any comfort or reason to linger a bit in the room. Parking is also limited.

A swimming pool with heated sea water would be an upgrade for the hotel.

Breakfast was very good, plenty of different food, fruits, a few different kinds of bread, croissants and even "prosciutto". Dinning room with a see view terrace. We were satisfied.

6 floors and only 1 elevator which is very slow. Very few parking spaces, no garage.

Great Location, very near city center. Great Breakfast, friendly staff. Room had a big TV and AC. With a Last Minute deal also affordable. Normal Price at ~360€/night would be too much.

The hotel is in the centre of town. Very helpful and kind stuff. Abundant breakfast and dinner. We had room with balcony and partial view to the sea. Superb value for the money.

The prices on Booking.com site was not matching the prices in the hotel. When I wanted to reserve breakfast and dinner the price I was offered on Booking.com was less then what I was paying in the hotel. I spoke to the reception and I hope they have given the correct prices to Booking.com website.

Breakfast was very fresh, variety of choices for everyone. I'm vegetarian and I could find some fresh fruits and juices. Bread and cheese all was fresh. Very tasty.

I’m surprised that this is a four-star hotel - it definitely needs to be freshened up. The bed was not really comfortable, the heating super loud.

The only real problem in Opathija is the parking. Fortunatly there was a public parking facility close by. At a price!

Fist I must say the food was great, delicious and good options, but.... As a vegetarian I must say the veggie options were poor. Luckily I eat fish. Otherwise I would have eaten side dishes and salad the whole stay.

Staff was kind and accommodating. The room was nice with a comfy bed 👌 Keep up a good work 👏

I hated the toilet placed in the shower area. It's extremely weird using it after the shower as your feet are in the puddle of water. I also missed something to hang and dry the bathing suites.

Hotel is well located, a pleasant walk to the center of Opatija. Good breakfast, nice staff, big enough rooms, public garage close by.

Coming with a car is difficult as the space is limited. The a/c unit was loud - something was unhinged in the unit that made the noise throughout the night, but it was a minor nuisance. Upgrading to a room with a balcony was unaffordable -- check in advance.

The hotel is clean and the staff are helpful. Breakfast is nice but typical to most hotels of this class. The room was clean.

Ants in the room, terrace worn down. Parking is limited, food is ok but not great. The hotel is nice in general but due for a refresh. It feels more like a 3 star hotel. We expected better look and feel based on the photos but we enjoyed our stay regardless.

Good location, nice view of the city, bay and sea (room dependent, I think there is only one suite like on the main photos). Staff is friendly and helpful.

A bit pricey for a small room and no parking although it’s stated parking is available for a fee. Public garage is nearby and pay per hour/day on street parking is available right outside the hotel but in peak season it probably gets very busy.

Fantastic location with sea view, easy seaside walk to multiple beaches, restaurants, etc. The room was somewhat small but spotless but the bathroom was quite large, modern and very clean.
