Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesReally not much. If I really want to pick a bone out of an egg then may be re-enforce the breakfast a little.
The staff is knowledgeable, professional and courteous. As a foreigner, I am not familiar with local attractions and the staff at Delfin provided invaluable information for me to go around. The decoration of the hotel is very cozy and homey and it makes me don't want to leave.

CroatiaI liked the location right next to the beach so when you eat you overlook the Zadar canal. The price was excellent and the breakfast was good. The hotel is very clean. It is not near the town center but if you are more for beach experience than this is excellent choice.

PolandThe staff was absolutely amazing! I’ve booked this stay for my father and his wife who don’t speak English at all. The folks at reception went above and beyond to make their stay easy and pleasant despite the language barrier. Thank you for helping them making their beautiful memories!

Czech RepublicLoved the place so much! Stood 3 nights here and we enjoyed them to the max. Very friendly stuff, helpful. Rooms were cleaned / tided every day, when we left the room. As it was in October, out of season, we found the place quiet. Decent breakfast, also. They have a restaurant on the first floor, but we couldn’t try it out. Wellness facilities were great too, very nice arranged, with lots of good taste. We loved the small details from the entry and the restaurant. Beds were nice and pillows comfortable, too. Overall a great value for the money, so 5/5 from us! Keep up the great job, and thank you for having us!

SpainIt's a bit far from the center, but the bus station is just in front of the hotel so it wasn't a big problem.

Germanyour rooms were very small. We upgraded to a seaview room for 3 nights, room 13 is unrenovated & had a funky smell. then our standard double room 4 was much smaller than the others. so just make sure you don’t get rooms 13 & 4. The others look better.
AMAZING sundeck, good breakfast, nice staff, in general the common spaces were nice

United KingdomHaving to come home when my holiday was over 😉
Clean, fresh and beautifully appointed accommodation with delightful attention to detail in the decor. The sunterrace is magnificent providing a serene space to sunbathe, relax and enjoy the views. Only improvement would be a solid roof to allow you to enjoy the spectacular rain and storms that September offers but the bar area is almost as good on the ground level. The location on the seafront with in-house bar and restaurant as well as alternatives close by is perfect. Breakfast - an extensive selection of continental as well as cooked breakfast options all to be enjoyed by the open windows looking across the sea to the islands. Evening meals are delicious and affordable. The Bus stop (no 8 bus every 30mins) on the doorstep gives access in to Zadar at a very reasonable price of approx Euro 1.65 /person. The helpful and attentive staff were on hand for advice or just a friendly hello. Such an absolute delight to have my first holiday experience in Croatia from here.

SlovakiaThe 2 spiral staircases leading to the 3rd floor rooms are quite tricky especially when checking in and out with a big luggage. We missed a LOT a drying rack in our room. I think that piece of equipment is essential for a hotel located at the seaside. The options where to dry towels and swimsuits were really poor.
Location of the hotel is great right on the seaside. There are couple dining options and beaches withing walking distance. Bus stop is right in front of the hotel so it's convenient to get to Zadar downtown. The room was very nice with its own little terrace oriented to the sea with outside seating and sunbathing seats. Breakfast was really tasty with variety of foods to choose from. There could be however more vegetarian options by default (e.g. all toasts or baked rolls were only with ham and cheese). Upon request they prepared also a version without ham. Only downside was the coffeemaker malfunctioning every now and then.
