This nice place is just a 15 minute drive from the old town of Dubrovnik. We liked that it was some distance away from the center, because DBV can be very crowded and this place is not. The hotel provides everything one could ever want. Everything is nice and in good condition, the staff are super friendly, breakfast was delicious. The hotel has a very nice private beach and comes with several restaurants nearby and a lot of sport activities.

1. Service at the beach. - Towels at the beach are nowhere to be found. Always took them from the pool regardless of when we visited the beach. - If something falls to the ground at the beach - no one will clean it and it will stay there for days. We were jokingly observing a melted ice cream spot for 6 days in the most public area until it was washed away by the rain. Also, a plant fell over and left the earth all over the beach. Rumors say it is still there. No one cleans. 2. Extremely overpriced restaurants at the hotel. Without a car, you are bound to have lunch and dinner at the hotel, which is very overpriced. No cheaper option such as a buffet for lunch or dinner. It's only restaurants. We rented a car and were going to the city every day for better and cheaper dining. 3. Problems with coffee machines at breakfast. When breakfast is the only thing included in your stay, you expect it to be spot on. Especially with coffee, bc you need it to function :) You can't have all your coffee machines not working at the same time, you need to refill them timely!!!

The staff was very friendly from the moment you arrive at the property. The room was very spacious (we were at the residences). The breakfast was great! Was more than what I expected! Lots of facilities on one location to complete your vacation: spa (complimentary use of jacuzzi and sauna/ steam room), kids area, etc.

Loved everything! Shop is expensive but I guess expected of a luxury hotel!

Absolutely brilliant holiday! Loved Sun Gardens…perfect in every way for what we wanted! Tennis, running, swimming and lounging by the pool or looking for fishes in the sea! Fantastic & beautiful location with the kindest most caring staff! Thanks a million!

A little out from the old town (11km) but Uber available and reasonably priced at 18-22 Euros each way. The hotel and location makes up for it all and once you’ve seen the old town once or twice there is no need to go back.

Very clean inside the property as well as the whole complex. Excellent for families but also for adults without children, with plenty of space and many pools and beach locations for a quiet time to enjoy the facilities. One bed apartment size very good and can accommodate 3-4 people easily. Very convenient shop and good restaurants on site, excellent sport and gym facilities to suit everyone.

That we hadn’t been able to stay for longer!

It was perfect for our stay in Dubrovnik Beautiful setting, impressive hotel, immaculately clean. Wonderful staff!!!! Couldn’t ask for more Would have liked to be a little closer to the city but if we had have been then we would have had to sacrifice being able to stay at this exact hotel. The standard of this hotel warranted being further outside the city and would definitely recommend this hotel very highly and it’s beautiful position overlooking the Adriatic.

The resort has a very good location with private beach, huge enough to have a relaxing holiday even when almost fully booked. Fresh and tasty breakfast, plenty of restaurants to choose for dinner. Bed and pillows are really comfy, easy to stay in for lazy mornings, the room is top clean every day. Staff members are very kind - real 5-star experience.

Restaurant & Bar pricing model is already more expensive than Dubrovnik, a city known for its expensive pricing. I get this is a 5 star resort with large running costs,, but the food we had I wouldn't have said was worth the money spent. Cheaper to go into Dubrovnik and get a good quality meal in there. Just didn't feel the money was worth the quality of food where we eat so hard to justify spending that elsewhere on the hotel grounds.

This Hotel offers beautiful views of the sea starting immediately as you walk into the hotel lobby, across the various pools and some of the restaurants. A beautiful resort with very friendly and polite staff throughout. Looks to be ideal for families with the choices of restaurants, pools and kids facilities too, so more geared towards families. The service at the pools allowing you order food & drinks to your sun loungers was top notch and quick, even with food being cycled over by staff from the restaurant. The adult only pool was my favourite offering stunning views of the sea as you relax on the lounger. There is a decent sized beach with free loungers and two premium seating options - the more premium options require a spend of €100 per person in the bar for a large or for the small €50 per person. Our hotel room, while I'd describe it more as a decent partial side sea view was a nice size and came with balcony offering two sun loungers and a table area. Very comfortable beds with super soft bed linen and pillows. Shower was in the bath and overall it was a decent sized bathroom. Breakfast was a fabulous setup with a big selection of hot & cold foods which were really enjoyable. My compliments to the young lady at the doorway of the Breakfast room for hotel guests, service always with a smile and very pleasant always. Hotel offers a beautiful spa with a wide range of treatments, a small gym, swimming pool and sauna/steam rooms. There is a large amount of on site apartments so there is a very handy small shop to buy essentials. Dubrovnik Old Town is about a half hour drive, costing us about €20 one way on average- Uber pricing model goes up and down at peak times and weekends. Hotel offers a shuttle at €15 per person one way or their own cars which I think was about €30 (maybe a little less, I cant recall). The Hotel states the distance and its in all the reviews so not sure how people complain about the distance.
