Wonderful, clean, a bit too small room, but with magnificent view!! Owner was super friendly and helpful!! Fantastic price!

1) I stayed here for 7 nights and during all this time neither the bed linen nor even the towels were changed. In addition, I paid for a double room, but lived alone, so there was already a saving. Especially unpleasant was with towels, because towels got wet and could not really be dried all week. Of course, the room was also not cleaned all week, and no one offered a floor brush either. 2) I slept badly here because of the noise. First, the street is close and car noises can be heard all night even in September. Second, the refrigerator is old and very noisy. In addition, there is a school and a sports field nearby. 3) Unfortunately, just before the trip I read dramatic reviews about the host of the guest house on Google Map and there was not just one, but 4 such reviews from different people. I wanted to cancel the reservation but it was non-refundable. In addition, an unpleasant little incident happened on the first day. The door of the room goes directly to the terrace. The terrace is also intended for smokers - there are ashtrays everywhere. One table was located 50 cm from my room, and I kindly asked the host to remove the ashtray from this one table so guests not smoke here so that the smoke would not enter the room. The owner sharply, unkindly replied that the ashtray will stay there on this table! I was really scared. But after a short while the hostess came and quietly took the ashtray and took it away. She was very kind always, but looked very tired. I didn't ask for anything anymore and absolutely nothing more bad happened. But I felt nervous all the time. I recommend better communicate with the hostess. 4) The beautiful garden is not well maintained, at least could throw away the broken furniture. 5) The stairs to the guest house (and to the beach, to promenade) are quite high. No problem if you have a car. But there is solution - bus 37 which runs to the property, not often, about once an hour. Timetable is here: https://www.autotrolej.

I really liked: 1) large, very beautiful garden around the house (with a lot of palm trees and flowers); 2) very nice terrace with quality sun loungers and tables. A very beautiful view of the sea from the terrace. 3) jacuzzi - the water was clean, worked really all day till 23.00 and there was not much concurrents for it; I recommend finding the best position - lying down with hydromassage for both shoulders and legs; 4) the room had everything you need - also a hairdryer, dishes, even a knife so I could make salad from very good fresh mocarella I found in the local market about 600 metres from guest house. 5) private bathroom inside the room; in other places of this price in Opatija it was not. 6) supermarket close to guest house; 7) small, nice beach not far from the guest house. As I was busy during the day, I swam in it late at night, in the dark, by the light of lanterns. And - I liked Opatija very much. It is so beautiful that I am not surprised that all the accommodations are quite expensive.

The mosquitos but it's not the apartment's fault of course. Also it would have been better if we could pay with a card, you can only pay with cash.

This apartment is 5 minutes on foot from the ocean and a pretty nice beach also from Opatija's promenade, although it is on a hill so when you go back it's 10 minutes because you have to climb. A Lidl is super close as well. We really liked the bathtub also. A apartment is small but it was enough for us (3 girls). The sunbeds were nice as well and the reserved parking spot and also the cute cat. In conclusion it is a pretty good place to stay in Opatija, I would come back for sure.

Great terrace with an awesome view of Opatija gulf. We did use the hot tub and the loungers available for the guests. We enjoyed having breakfast in the terrace. The walk down to the beach is steep but nothing major if you take it easy. Great location between Volosko and Angiolina park. There is a big supermarket very close to the villa. The room was small, but it was clean and it had all comforts. Nice shower and airco. Private parking is a plus. Great value for money . Highly recommended. Thanks

The only thing is if you don’t have a car it’s a bit of a hike up the hill from the main area of town.

Very nice, clean room with a shared terrace with a hot tub and stunning view of the sea. The hosts were very friendly and helpful. The room seemed newly furnished. There’s a nice kitchenette with small fridge so you can prepare meals. Very good value for money.

The parking spots of the Apartments were taken by other cars, but it was relatively easy to find a place very close (10m).

We loved the terrace and its views just in front of our door. Amazing open air jacuzzi even in the evening :) Marija kept the jacuzzi open a few more days so we could use it during our stay. Thanks so much Marija!

The room was so cozy and the view from there was stunning! Maria was also such a kind host and made everything so much ease for me and my friend. Apartment was cold during the nigh abd in the morning since there is no heating during the night. Since it is a 4star apartment we didn't expect to find plstic cups. Also it would be nice to have tea bags or coffee in the apartment it does not cost a lot and especially since it was so cold.

Owner was very nice and friendly. Apartment is clean. Viee is fabalous.
