Amazing location at 10 minutes walk from the city center, very nice bedroom and beautiful garden. Extremely quiet at night, we woke up hearing birds singing. The host is very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommended!

The room and grounds were beautiful. The hostess was friendly and helpful. She offered us coffee and croissants even though we hadn't signed up for breakfast. I liked being a short distance from the center; quiet but not a bad walk to the center. We were upgraded to a larger room which was beautiful and spacious.

Mimi is an excellent host, the embodiment of hospitality. The property, visibly built with intension of summer escape, has excellent ambiance and view to most of old town. It's a few minutes walking distance.

The main entry door was a tad finicky...sometime it worked on the first try, sometimes the 10th.

We had a complimentary glass of wine on arrival. Mimi was very informative. Breakfast could be provided, but we skipped that, a bit pricey. Mimi did tell us about a market and bakery a few minutes from the apartment, which we enjoyed. Shopping with the locals and getting fresh baked croissants was fine with us.

Amazing stay at the Villa Anica. Mimi, our host, was so warm and caring. She made sure we were well accommodated with whatever we needed. The Villa is centrally located in Pile, just a 5-10 minute walk or so into Old Town. Our room was big and very comfortable. The bed was the most comfortable we had in our stay throughout Croatia. We will miss the Villa Anica!

There was nothing we didn't like, it was a great stay. Just be aware it's outside of old town, so if you don't want to do the steps in and out then you need to stay somewhere in the heart of old town. We found it manageable and good justification for all the gelato...

Villa Anica is a beautiful property, set just outside old town - it's really spacious, plenty of outside sitting with beautiful views, really welcoming atmosphere and overall a brilliant accommodation. With only three rooms it feels really homely and the property has some really interesting history. Mimi the host was fantastic, so friendly and always willing to help - her knowledge of Croatia was invaluable and she really helped us shape our trip. We visited Montenegro and Bosnia Herzegovina also, and she knew so much about the countries and where to go - including best times to avoid the busy borders - her insight really helped us. Really lovely lady.

Our host Mimi was really friendly, and we recommend the breakfast there, served outside with lovely views. Very comfy beds and huge bathroom. Location was perfect, about 10mn walk from Pile gate (a lot of steps to get back up to the B&B).

Villa Anica was a stunningly beautiful place to stay. The location was fantastic, perfectly quiet with a view of the water and fort, just a short walk into the main attractions at the old town. The rooms were lovely with a huge bathroom. Mimi, our host, thought of absolutely everything. She gave us a lovely wine on arrival and some delicious local chocolates on departure. She cooked us breakfast every morning (excellent omelettes and lovely cheeses, meats and veggies as well as pastries, toast, cereals, juice, fruits, yoghurt etc). Mimi helped us organise everything we needed for our trip including a day on a sailing boat, car transfers to the airport, restaurant recommendations and helping us find a laundry service. She was the most wonderful host! The garden is lovely to sit in and relax with a gorgeous view if you want some quiet time after a big day of sightseeing and there was a lovely sitting area indoors (but we spent our whole time outdoors in the garden because it was so lovely). We can't wait to come back and stay again! :)
