I liked everything.

The hotel is perfectly located next to the arboretum. The sights of Sárvár can be reached in minutes. The room is spacious, clean and well equipped. There was a tape on the toilet indicating disinfection. The wellness is first class, you can also swim in the outdoor pool. The breakfast is delicious and plentiful.

WiFi was down one afternoon until the next morning. I did not really need it but still frustrating. Restaurant was not working, unless you had booked halfboard. The sauna area could be refreshed during the day, beacuse in the afternoon it is used, smells bad and needed to be cleaned.

I have been here many times, I still like the price and the service. Breakfast nice and lots of food to choose from. If the wellness area is not overcrowded, you can enjoy the facilities.

Our room was facing a main road and we visited in a heat wave but the room was thankfully air conditioned and we didn't really hear the road through the closed window, just a few motorbikes. Friendly and competent staff that were always helpful and answered any questions. Bar has a nice terrace and service is efficient and quick. Pool and sauna area are clean and inviting. There is an infrared and traditional Finnish sauna. As I have had other experiences in Europa, we asked and were informed clothing was optional in the Finnish sauna. Sunbeds are provided for free but there was no bar service poolside. The location is ideal to walk to the spa, go shopping or visit the town center. The hotel is also family friendly and breakfast is very good and accommodates a range of choice from fruit to continental and is served between 7 & 10 a.m. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would return to this hotel.

The room is a bit worn down because of the age of the place. Some carpet renovation would be great. A proper chair would be useful for being able to work at the desk. I did not like the main light in the room. Very white and not strong enough. Warmer light with more power would be better. No English language channel on the cable TV and Euronews is not available.

Stayed here before so knew what to expect. Great location, comfortable parking. Kind staff. Got a breakfast package since I needed to leave very early. Great option. Clean, large and modern bathroom.

Wellness area is relatively small (for about 10-12 persons), if there is full-house, it could be crowded. You can't find weights and dumbbells in the exercise rooms, only cardio machines. No indoor pool (just the Jacuzzi), and the pool in the garden is out of order in winter. Due to the low number of guests, there was no buffet breakfast, I've been served with a plate of continental food (no big deal for me, but I like the open buffet with warm dishes, eggs, bacon etc.).

Great location, free parking outside. Wifi is good everywhere (even in the wellness area). Sauna is small but operates from 9-20, so is the infracabin. Indoor jakuzzi with warm water. Small indoor cardio room with treadmill, bikes and elliptical trainers. Nice staff. Restaurant also available.

The shower curtain need to be changed - otherwise clean room. Also, I requested 12-13h early checkin which was approved, yet the room was ready at 14.00. No big deal, and it was of course still earlier than the standard but then better not approve the request if it cant be fulfilled so we plan differently.

Perfect location, just next to the castle and in the middle of downtown. Pleasant and professional staff, good breakfast, spacious parking lot. The rooms were nice and although we didnt have time to try the wellness, it did seem promising. Staff speak 3 languages at least.

After a week of smaller hotels and pensions it was great to be back to a professional establishment where everything just works and where staff if not just friendly but know what they’re doing. Good Wifi. Good restaurant. Breakfast is not excessive but good selection and what’s put out there is of great quality (loved the undiluted Rauch juices and the fresh pastry). Thermal bath is in walking distance and it’s great fun for young and old (our two year old loved it)

We did not get bathrobes and could not use the wellness - while it supposed to be a wellness hotel. this is why we stayed two nights… We asked for the robes twice, still did not get it. The half board dinner is the typical Hungarian simpleton - fried stuff mainly, and mediocre at that, too.

The breakfast was really good, except for the coffee . Staff is OK, though sort of amateurish.

Ratio of service and a price is not fair. Price for one room was 104 Euro and for this amount you expect much higher accommodation, service and breakfast, what was not case here.

I stayed 2 nights at the hotel, and both evenings I had to have a shower in COLD WATER which is unacceptable in a 4 star hotel! I signalled it at the reception but they did nothing about the problem on the first day. After I told them the problem a little harder on the second day and that I want to talk with the hotel director, immediately I had hot water in the room. Very interesting. Perhaps they want to save money on gas. The air-conditioner is practically useless in the rooms! Be aware of this, since on the top floor the rooms get very hot during Summer. I HAD NO CLEANING at all after the first night in my room, but they still counted money on it. The answer was that maybe I did not notice that the cleaner was in my room. This answer is ridiculous, since the trash-bin was not emptied, the dirty towels what I put on the floor was still there, and my bed was not touched by anybody. There is no soundproofing on the room-doors, so you can hear everything whats happening at the corridor outside. There is no water-heater in the room either. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL to anybody! It is clear that this hotel does not deserves the 4 stars as stated.

Location was good and free parking space is provided. Dogs are allowed in the hotel.
