This was our third visit at the hotel and we liked it very much, every time. The staff is very polite, kind and helpful. Our food allergies were also served well, we were asked if they could prepare any dish of our desire. Though we were there quite off-season, there were more than enough options for dinner which was and always has been delicious. Clear recommendation!

The only negative I could mention is that the gym of the hotel is small and not very well equipped. To be honest I was always alone in the gym.

An absolutely fantastic place to have a wellness holiday. The place have a good variety of saunas, and 2 thermal pools. The staff was always nice and helpful, and the food provided was great. They offer a large variety of massages and treatments, which my wife enjoyed very much.

The castle is in a beautiful location, surrounded by a well-kept park. The rooms are large and completely renovated. The staff is very attentive and fulfilled all our wishes. The drinks and food were varied and delicious. The wellness department is of a high standard, perfect for relaxation.

The restaurant. A place like this should have an exceptional restaurant as well. The dinner buffet is ordinary at best. The restaurant staff is not up to 4* service. Some of the food ran out 30 minutes before the buffet closed.

I’ve been here now for the third time in this summer and every time it’s perfect. Friendly, helpful staff. Food and atmosphere in the restaurant pleasant. You have everything in one place: pools, food, gym, saunas, nature…I’ll back again soon 🙂

I read the reviews and others received a room upgrade for free, I asked for a brighter room and I was refused, although the adjacent rooms were free :( I had to pay for my dog, for 1 night 10.000 forints (26 euros) - a ridiculous and inexplicable amount !

Amazing hotel, looks exactly like in the pictures. A mansion converted into a hotel with big rooms, free indoor pool, sauna and jacuzzi, outdoor pool, log sauna, tennis court. A huge plot of land behind the hotel turned into a park (take care because there are a lot of mosquitoes). Spacious room with a king bed, TV, air conditioning, amenities included, towels, robes. I had the dinner and breakfast included. Delicious food for dinner and breakfast! (you need to pay for drinks at dinner) Free parking. The hotel is located in a small village.

The dinner was okay, but not extraordinary, also a single small jacuzzi is not enough, it was always occupied.

Nice location, the building, rooms and the garden were all wonderful. Rooms were spacious and cozy.

The bed was a bit uncomfortable and the room’s soundproofing was poor (I could hear everything that was happening in the hallway).

It is a lovely place. Huge, well maintained park around the castle, very peaceful and green surroundings. We got a free room upgrade so could relax on a 40 sqm terrace :) +16 C, sun and first flowers in the last days of February. The apartment was very comfortable, there was a lot of space in the bathroom. It is not emphasized anywhere on booking site, but there is kind of a daily wellness programme offered for free - stretching, breathe exercises in aroma sauna (wooden sauna house located in the garden!), aqua gym and even painting :) It was not yet allowed to swim in the outdoor pool but I can imagine how lovely that is in summer. The indoor pool is small but nice. During our Hungary trips we noticed the pools there are not designed for swimming but purely for relax, the water in them is therefore very, very warm. We liked both breakfasts and dinners, some typical Hungarian food was offered: pepper sausage, duck leg, goulash soup (luckily we are not vegetarian ;). We prolonged our stay to 3 nights and still did not manage to use all of the facilities as had also some car rides to the Balaton lake and villages around so I think this place can be recommended for at least 1 week vacation.

Nothing to dislike

We are returning to this place time to time and it always exceed our expectations. The castle is gorgeous, the wellness is great, the whole place is very clean, the staff is friendly and the kitchen is serving wonderful dishes. Great experience in every aspect! Strongly recommended for everyone who was to relax in a wonderful atmosphere.

On the first evening during dinner (an hour before the end), the waiters began to prepare and cover everything for breakfast, while waving a tablecloth next to us.

The Palace is gorgeous in and of itself. We also appreciated the lovely, quiet garden, and the small, friendly village. The room was beautiful and clean. Reception was lovely and accommodating. Check-in was easy. Excellent breakfast and dinner. I want to return to this place!

No real complaints. The place could be spruced up a little, but it’s a great value as is.

Dinner and breakfast were good. The location was good, but probably somewhat difficult to access with public transportation. The property is elegant, but just a little rough around the edges. Overall a great value, though. The staff was friendly and helpful and all spoke English well, in case that’s a concern. The spa area was very nice. Would definitely stay here again.

When you are in the restaurant and you have finished your meal before your partner has, it should be self-understood that the empty plate is only to be removed when the other person has finished as well. Otherwise you get the feeling being treated like in a snackbar!! It is just a matter of politeness and manners.

Location is fine within its own park. It is nice and quiet. For someone who just wants to relax and stay where they are, it is absolutely right - with the pools on the premises. Breakfast was fine, the choices for the evening meal were not to my taste, but cannot be taken into account, as we stayed only for one night.
