We always love to come back to Budapest and this was something new for us, we have never been in a hotel like this, it was perfect experience. The hotel is 5 minutiek from parliament, from the metro, 10 minutes from the Margaret Island, it is not the centre of Budapest but you can get everywhere by metro so it doesnt even matter, also ig was more quieter location. Room was clean, breakfast was amazing, you have many options so definitely you’ll choose something. I would prefer sunumbrellas and sunbeds on the top of the boat but that’s it

the accomodation is old and not updated. It needs more attention to details and cleanliness. The air conditioning wasn't working and it was a very hot day.

aircon not good, fridge didnt work in our room. We were also expecting a bar onboard or a restaurant, nothing onboard at all and had to order a takeaway.

Of course, I knew it might not be as comfy as in a hotel room, so it was good for the sake of adventure and experiencing a new thing. What really annoyed me was that from 6 a.m. the room smelled of food being prepared in their kitchen. Opening the small window didn't also really help.

In the mornings, the boiler took an extended period to heat up, resulting in a lack of hot water at times. Additionally, it was disappointing not to be allocated a room with a picturesque view of the city; instead, our view faced a neighboring boat and a daily fishing routine.

The room itself was spacious, featuring a large and comfortable bed, creating a cozy and clean atmosphere. The breakfast options provided were varied and delicious, adding to the positive experience. One notable advantage was the ability to utilize the storage room for the entirety of the day, which was greatly appreciated.

Any criticisms are minor. The curtains don't block out all the light so bring an eye mask. It's a moderate walk into the town centre but worth the distance for the experience of staying on the boat hotel.

I had a wonderful experience staying here whilst in Budapest. The views are lovely. The bed is comfortable and it's quiet at night. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The buffet breakfast was good.

We opted for a larger room for only a few Euros more and the view was great. Being in the middle of the city, but on the river made walking to all the sites easy.

The room was great but a few items could have been better: - The curtains could have been better. No matter how much one tries, they do not cover the windows completely, either from one side or the other.. - When one sits on the toilet, the sink is right in one's space / face. The bathroom setup could have been designed better. - The double bed was comfortable, but made up from 2 single beds.

The view was lovely. The room very big. The room was clean and smelled good. The tea and coffee making facilities were very much welcome. The breakfast was abundant and very tasty. I would stay there again.

The boat is old, the rooms are small and the view is not that great as the boat is docked far from the main attractions that you could see from the Danube. There is a persistent smell of old on the boat, we had to sleep with the windows open, and there is noise till late in the night as you can hear everything, every single person coming to their room.

I liked the idea of sleeping on a boat, it seemed something unique and I wanted to try it out.

Our room was not clean for the 5 days we stayed there, even though we asked for it on the 2nd day. Not even a change of towels. There is not a fridge in the room, when I asked they told me only superior rooms had one!

Location is really good. Might seem a bit far from everything at first but after a walk around you realised there are quite a few buses and tram that will take you everywhere. Near the boat, if you don't feel like walking, there is the number 2 tram, definitely worth to take it as it stops in all panoramic city attractions. Also, near the tram there is a local chimney cake stand shop, waay cheaper than everywhere else, where it costs 800 HUF, compared to the 2200 HUF everywhere else. Breakfast is very nice. Good selection of pastries, breads, cheese, sausages, pancakes..everything was hot and refilled as it goes low. Beds were comfy and room was warm. Shower is hot and with good pressure. They let us do a later check out as our flight was a bit later in the day
