The area and outside of the building. The outside entrance of building looked run down. The area seemed run down too and not very clean.

The room was spacious and clean. Transport to hotel was good and easy from airport. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Lots of shops near by which is helpful though need to check opening hours.

My only issue with the place & why I didn't give it a perfect rating is my experience with a receptionist about payment. I was not happy when I was asked to pay on the desk, I thought the purpose of pre-booking and registering my card details is to be charged in advance of the booking, I thought I had done this when I booked months prior. I had to pull out my emergency money to cover the fee. Which after a long day of travelling and sightseeing, I didn't want to be messing about with this. I had a 5-10 minute back n forth as I couldn't understand it, despite being exhausted. I was told the reason they don't charge the card is because travellers want to sometimes pay in cash, which seems so stupid and wasn't something I had experience prior. Especially considering the policy online is if you no-show you will be charged- so whats the point? My advice to the hotel would be to contact guests prior to confirm their preferred method of payment, as for me, it was a stress I didn't want or need. It was the only negative of my stay.

LOVEDDDD THIS PLACE! was the best part of my trip. Felt like I was living like a local in the old building, beautiful rooms. Aesthetics were spot on. Rooms were clean and comfy. Excellent aircon which was needed. Lots of little lights which is great for settling down on a night, big windows as well. Bathroom was a good size for a solo traveller. Complimentary water and wine (whilst I don't drink, I appreciate the gesture) along with mini fridge. The place felt welcoming and having a comfy spot for travellers. Although will say the lift is a bit terrifying first few times by the end really enjoyed the character it brought.

The air conditioner could have been colder, an option of English breakfast tea would have been nice but all in all it was great.

The location was fab, the staff were really friendly. The room was spotless and the fridge was really big and very useful. The water and wine were lovely touches in the room.

Nothing really...everything was fine...

I was very pleased with the location of the hotel... the exchange of messages with the stuff before my arrival was very polite and showed that people were really interested in making the things comfortable for me...the receptionists were friendly and ready to help... cleaners also did a great job and reacted on all my requests.. The room itself is quite an unusual place in old building with some history...it's like a studio apartment divided on two parts with two large windows facing the gallery...interesting for those who likes something different..

Lift is a bit weird, but that's nothing against the actual hotel, it's an old building ^-^ Rooms can get quite warm but open a window and you'll be fine ^-^ double check the room you book, we booked a twin room and ended up with one bed 😅

Location was amazing! Hotel staff were so nice, we had an issue trying to authorise my card but they sorted it super quick and were so helpful! Right in the center of everything and so easy to get to everywhere! The room was super clean and really big! The complimentary wine was so cute and a really sweet touch from the hotel! Will def book again when I go back to budapest!

The staff is excellent. The bottle wine detail.is definitely a winner point. And the locatio couldn't be better.

The main entrance of the building could be renovated, but this is not the fault of the hotel.

The hotel is very well located, in the city center. Easy access to go to the airport, the bus stop is just meters away. Lots of bars and restaurants nearby. The size of the room is comfortable for 2 people and it's very clean. There's water, tea and a bottle of wine for free. The staff is super friendly, most of them speak Spanish. I would go again.

The location was excellent as it was near the metro station and alot of shops around the hotel. The cleaning staff was excellent, needed to use an iron and she produce one for me within 5 minutes.

Generally the room (#6) was good but a few things in the bathroom need attention. Toilet seat unattached on one side and the shower doesn't seem to drain away very quickly. Also the lock on the door was very loose.

The bed was noisy and the door of the balcony was not really soundproof.

The location was superb. The room was hot even in the freezing cold. There was free wine, tea and water.

The hotel is on a very busy road and traffic could at times be noisy

Large clean, airy rooms with fridge, kettle, coffee, teas. Lovely touch was a welcome bottle of wine and waters when we arrived after a late flight. Staff were very helpful and offered us luggage storage on our last day.

With 2 luggages it wasn't easy to go up to a 3rd floor and the corridors and all that doors. Even with the elevator wasn't easy. Only to find a note that thereafter go downstairs, cross the road and go to a different building... another stairs, corridors and doors to open like in an escape room. Another big issue that the receptionist told me that I can only pay by cash! They didn't notify me beforehand about this. And they didn't give me any receipt once I paid. I wasn't happy about it and even forgot to ask for a receipt which should have been given to me without asking.

It was very clean and the place and the bed sheets and towels smelled good and fresh.

There was a window near the hallway. People passing by could see in the room. There was no direct sunlight. Bathroom smells bad. There was a strong mold smell in the bathroom. The beds are seeking. Making sounds at every move. Towels are not the most qualitative. They are not 100% cotton and they look really used and old.

The location was great. They offered a bottle of wine and a bottle of water. The personnel was really friendly and understanding.
