Nice place with a great location. My room had TV, private bathroom, good equipped small kitchen (with 1 plate induction stove) and refrigerator. Close to shops and bars. Public transportation is nearby.

The room was lovely and the bed was very comfortable. You need to take into account that air conditioning costs extra, but given the low price of the accommodation that's totally acceptable.

This is a return visit for me to Connection Guesthouse. I returned because it is clean & comfortable with a great location. Also, it gives you a sense of what life is like in Budapest…the owner is attentive & helpful.

Station to entrance is not that great, reception is over crowded with too many furniture, room is in 2 levels, down, dining stool and benches are too small for a small made person.

-the "apartment" was very small, claustrophobically so, one had difficulty changing due to the low-ceiling, it was extremely challenging to eat in the "kitchen" (nook with tiny wobbly table) -the pillows and bedding are in need of an upgrade -general cleanliness of the apartment: there was a lot of dust on the shelving in the bedroom, a lot of dust in the bathroom (the kitchen area seemed ok, but we did not use any pots or pans or the stove, so didn't look closely at them). -to get to the apartment you go through a common/breakfast area that was extremely messy and crowded with stuff so it really added to the claustrophobic feeling of the property

Many steps up to office. Kettle and cup provided but no supplies to make tea or coffee. Noisy from street at night. Use of aircon 5 Euro daily, use of room safe daily charge. Owner lives on site but hard to find

STEPS !! -42 from street level to the reception and guest house, plus other steps down to many rooms, or within rooms. These were not mentioned in listing or shown in photos. Had we been warned we would not have booked. -Also the photo of the studio unit was misleading; it was actually the reception area.

Location was perfect, within easy walking distance of most things. Janos, our host, was lovely and extremely caring and helpful.

They say that they have Parking but they don't have it. They have all the information in English except the Budapest parking rules. Those are in Hungarian dirty bathroom and no products in the minibar just an empty fridge

The shower didn’t slide up and down the designated rail as it was broken. This meant it only reached waist down unless it was lifted out. There also appeared to be a smell from the floor drain possibly attributed to it not being used much over past two years of lockdowns.

Staff were helpful and friendly. Location was good for me as it was walking distance to some city sights. Shower was hot and the safe gave piece of mind for passport etc.

The parking information were very poor. We didn't knew exactly where to park and where not. In the end, we used the Parkl application (also hard to complete and set) and we paid by card for a few hours. Anyhow, we were a bit worried about the car all the time, so... maybe you could help more the travellers with cars.

Strange breakfast, you have to ask for coffee or tea, eggs are on request. A little different from the buffet breakfast as we know it, but ok. Good location, right in the heart of the city.

My room faced the street which was loud at night time, making it difficult to sleep especially on a hot day where it would be best to have windows open.

At first glance it appears very clean, but then I noticed lots of hairs on the bathroom floor in the corners, and on the staircase.

The rest was very clean, very well appointed and attractive, terrific location, easy to get everywhere. Host is a very hardworking man.

Excellent location - near the opera house There is a really good cafe called lions locker near by for breakfast Nice little studio with fully equipped kitchenette Close to metro station Although this apartment is located in the nightlife area, my room faced the courtyard so you can’t hear any noise from the street. I would happily stay hear again
