There was not enough hot water for the shower in the evening...maybe by chance?

Unfortunately the lift was made available which presented challenges with our luggage. The only time we saw the owner/manager was at check in, and you were left to your own devices with only a modest self serve breakfast.

We enjoyed a spacious room on the top floor with a balcony view across the township and mountains beyond.

My daughter and I stayed in a small stone cottage (separate from the main building) with a large room containing a bed, living area, and kitchen, as well as a large bathroom. The cottage was very beautiful and clean and comfortable. The location, raised slightly above the village of Broto, had a beautiful view of a waterfall and the mountains, and was a good stepping off point for Ordesa national park. It was quite reasonably priced considering the quality of the accommodation. We would definitely stay here again.

The room was a bit cold and we could not adjust the temperature.

The property is amazing. A beautiful structure in an incredible setting with views in all directions. The suite was huge with a wonderful whirlpool tub. The bed was very comfortable. The gracious host could not have done more to make this a perfect stay. The home made multi course breakfasts were delicious. The location is prefect for visiting Ordessa National Park.

The only difficulty was driving up to the Lodge from the town, be sure and follow his instructions and look for the small sign and the left arrow. Two very narrow spots in the road but they work for a normal size car.

This is simply a spectacular property for a very reasonable budget! It was a lovely lodge style home with quaint common areas available for use and an amazing view. The two bedroom suite was perfect for this family of three traveling through Spain. The host was exceedingly polite and truly loves his hotel.

A superb host with great communication. A stunning property in a beautiful location. The whole house was exceptionally clean and tidy, the beds were superb. Excellent secure parking for the motorbikes. I thoroughly recommend staying here. The breakfast provided was very good.

The view from the room is spectacular. Facility is modern with great taste. Great location to enjoy the National park. the host is amazing and provided us many detail before coming. if you like wine like myself you have to ask him for his collection. we had a fantastic time.

We liked EVERYTHING about Casa Rural El Portón de Murillo. In fact, we LOVED everything about it.

My wife and I loved staying at this impeccably beautiful, peaceful, and lovingly attended country house. Designed and built with great attention to detail, this large four-story house is handsome and well-crafted, and in pristine condition. As we approached the neighborhood, and were trying to figure out which house was the right one, I spied this place and immediately remarked, “Gee, I hope we’re staying THERE!” We were met immediately by our host, a multilingual gentleman of great dignity and character; over multiple exchanges, we felt very lucky to be in his care. It is situated on a hillside overlooking the valley that contains the lively, ancient, riverside town of Broto. And the vista from many points within the house and virtually every bedroom is of a 200 degree panoramic set of mountains which are, in a word, breathtaking. At the center of this glorious vista are a set of waterfalls…. A beautiful outdoor lap swimming pool with the same extraordinary view, a kitchen for the use of guests, a cozy living room area stocked with maps and guides, and the option of a delicious home-made breakfast rounded out our experience. This place is entirely peaceful at every hour of the day or night.

Excellent location for the village with mountain views. The owner was very attentive and each breakfast, stayed for two days, was different and consisted of local produce. This is our second stay in Broto and its rural location is superb. Good value for money and a well presented breakfast.
