Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). SwitzerlandThe only "downside" was that the rooms are overall quite humid and therefor a bit smelly. Nothing to really complain about, just when you want to find something.
It was our first hotel after arriving in Bali. The welcoming atmosphere at AmandaDara Ubud Resort was exceptional. We had a huge room, with everything we were looking for. From shower gels to creams, water, everything was at our hands. The breakfast the best in Bali for us so far, the dinner was as well on a great level.

United StatesDid not love the bathroom only being divided with a curtain from the room but wasn't a big deal. Nothing else really bothered us. Communicating with the restaurant staff in English was sometimes difficult, they got our order wrong several times but not a huge deal.
It is in a great location, a beautiful property with an amazing pool, restaurant, and spa. The rooms are amazing, AC worked great and the bathroom was huge. The balcony overlooking the pool was amazing and so comfortable with the fan on a rainy day just relaxing. Wifi was super fast. Would love to come back here more often. Rooms are huge too and easy to get to. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. Can not recommend this place enough. So glad we found it and got to stay here.

PortugalThe breakfast was a big let down, taking into account the amount of delicious cafes there are in Ubud. The guacamole and hummus are the size of a teaspoon. I would have still booked this hotel but without breakfast. A few times we were given dirty towels and had to change bedsheets because of stains.
Nice location, it feels remote and peaceful yet it's 15 mins away from centre of Ubud. Rice field are right across the main cafe, jungle view from the balcony. New design. Friendly responsive stuff. Indian head massage was awesome.

I liked everything in this resort. Please do yourself a tend go there, don’t hesitate unless you want to be in the busy area close to the city then maybe this isn’t the place for you because it’s so secluded and quiet. I loved the food from the restaurant it was a 10/10. The cleanliness is definitely also 10/10 the staff members are exceptional, the service is out of this world. I’d like to appreciate Krisna and Deearie for making my stay so wonderful and pleasant. They were really great towards me and took care of me as solo female traveller. Thank you to you two!

One of the best hotels we have been to. Just the right size, very attentive service, large and clean pool. The rooms are even better than they show on the picture. Super clean and well taken care of every day. Free Pringles and Coca Cola every day :-) Many options for breakfast with alternating menus. Many vegetarian and vegan options. Our waitress Tira took very good care of us - as well as all of the other staff. We look forward to coming back. Clear recommendation.

Beautiful new hotel! This hotel is nestled in a quiet and cozy place of Ubud, but still very quickly accessible to all the main places. So, as I said - the hotel is new, accordingly everything is clean, nice, neat! Very cozy area with pool, not very big but everything you need is there. The rooms are large, spacious, with a bathtub and shower. The water pressure in the shower is beyond excellent - a separate pleasure to stay at the hotel. Large and comfortable beds, very quiet yet powerful air conditioning. The hotel staff deserves special praise - absolutely every person is very pleasant in communication, attentive and always ready to help, you can see that they work on the service. The restaurant at the hotel also deserves praise - at breakfast, lunch or dinner everything is always very tasty and beautiful and importantly, there are vegan and vegetarian options. In general, I strictly recommend this hotel to visit! In terms of value for money this is simply one of the best options in Ubud! For me this is now my favorite hotel in Ubud.

United KingdomWhen taking the free shuttle service into Ubud the driver kept offering to take us to his village on his day off (to make more money of course) and about gambling and alcohol and even after we politely didn't agree he approached us when we returned to the hotel again to ask if we would like to go to his village/home so forth.
The staff are extremely friendly and go above and beyond to put a smile on your face. Always smiling, remembering your name and doing a great job. The food is great also and a fair price for the evening meals considering how good they are.
