How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

No kettle or fridge but was able to get some hot water when I asked No pool but an average beach area 5 mins away to cool off
The hotel is fine for a couple nights. It’s basic but clean, excellent hot water pressure, wifi good & staff pleasant. It is couple kms from main Sanur area but can easily hire bicycle & ride along a beachwalk path. Excellent location to Perama bus & harbour. The street the hotel is in has lots of mini marts & cafes and a large supermarket/souvenir shop.

Internet was working in the restaurant only, but it was temporarily outage...
Location is very convenient - close to the beach and the city. Restaurant on site. Secure bike parking.

Two single bed even if we asked for a double one. TV is in the room but broken Could us extra cleaning but overall in good condition
Nice helping staff Nice early breakfast for no charge 5min walk from the harbour AC working fine. Cheap stay for a night before boat transfer to island (Nusa or Gili)

WiFi didn’t reach the room and we really needed it to do our work and unwind with Netflix! we ended up on our laptops in the corridor chairs which wasn’t great. we did ask to move but they were fully booked. seems like the place used to be nice but is now super run down. good to stay for 1-2 nights if you’re catching a boat the next day.
close to the harbour for boats to the other islands, breakfast was included and they booked gluten free ones for me with GF flour I bought from the local organic shop. really nice staff.

Ragged towels, bucket in bathroom and cleaning items left in room. Room was quite scruffy with marked walls and unfinished bathroom.
Nice staff and the hotel area for breakfast and outside was nice.

Room was not that clean and the basic amenities were not provided.
Super easy to get by and this is very close to the Sanur Port. For tourist who are planning stay just the night while you are being transit Nusa Peninda Island, Gili Islands or Lombok Island, this is the place to be. • We were here for two night and the first day the room was not that clean. However, when we returned from Nusa Peninda the room has been made and cleaned properly. • We had to place the breakfast order from the reception as they do not have a Buffet in the morning. However, my requirement was to have breakfast at 6.30am and we ordered “Nasi Jengo” for me and Toast Bread with Omelette for my wife, where they delivered to the room on time. • Also, the place has their own restaurant next door, yet we chose to walk towards the Sanur port to have some sea food from the restaurant. • The port is just 7 mins walking from the accommodation. • Basic amenities are not provided where you couldn’t find Dental Kit, Sanity Kit, toiletries yet towels were provided. • Tea/coffee making facilities are not provided, yet you get Tea/Coffee along with two 330ml mineral water bottles. Any additional water will cost you IDR 5000/- for a 600ml water bottle. • Value for money was satisfying as this is a budget hotel. • WIFI is available in the room and the lobby area for free.

Its basic but you get what you pay for, I struggled to tell where it was but it was super dark
I arrived at 11:45pm due to flight delays and there was someone there to meet me & check me in Really lovely staff, I didn’t stay long but they were really friendly

- we arrived at 2 AM. even though I communicated with the property owner before hand that we need late check-in at 2 AM and the owner promised us that they would arrange it, when we arrived, there was no one to receive us (the whole property was dark, doors were locked). After knocking for 10 min, we almost thought there was no one in there and were about to leave (looking for another hotel nearby on the phone), then finally and luckily someone woke up to let us in.
