Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

NetherlandsA wonderful, beautiful place with a large private pool, overlooking the rice fields, with lovely, wonderful staff. Manik and her staff made us feel so welcome and made our stay completely hasslefree. We loved their friendliness, the fresh fruit and flowers in the room. There are some nice local eateries around, some small local shops and massage places and little paths for beautiful walks in nature. The village centre is a short walk away.

AustraliaThe property can only be accessed via motor bike/scooter or on foot. We had a lot of luggage but the staff picked us up from Ubud and were able to accomodate the transfer of heaps of luggage (pram, cot, backpacks and 2 huge suitcases and one small check in suitcase to our accomadation).
Loved the accomadation, It was beautifully cleaned and overlooking the rice fields, It was was lovely. Staff were amazing and extremely accomodating of our late arrival due to flight delays. The food was great quality and we stayed three nights. There is also a great little cafe a short walk away in amongst the rice fields.

Incredible!! The villa was spacious and exactly as pictured. Great breakfast options and really friendly staff. We were able to arrange tours, massages and transportation directly with them through a WhatsApp number. We genuinely hope to come back. The villas are located a short walk from the main road and only accessible by motorbike or walk. We really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful surroundings.

The staff were so lovely and responded to our messages promptly. We stayed at the 3rd villa on the property, it was so quiet and relaxing. at night you could see the fireflies in the rice paddies. it is about a 15 min walk to the main road and a really pleasant walk. there is a coffee shop down the track that is nice and local Warungs to eat at. We spent an entire day barely leaving the villa: having a massage in the cabana, watching the rain, watching movies, reading, ordering food in, drinking strong coffee. perfect place to get away from the busyness of life.

United KingdomAbsolutely nothing! Perfect in every way.
Airsania is a little slice of paradise. The villa is 1 of 3 set in a beautiful rice field. You have a private pool and 4 poster bed with mini fridge and outdoor bathroom. It's so idyllic and pristine. Madi & staff ensured we had everything we needed to enjoy our honeymoon. The villa can only be reached on foot or the experience of a scooter (staff will collect you) It's a short ride & the views of the rice fields are beautiful. They arranged transfer from airport & return, massages, day tours & pretty much anything you requested; nothing was too much for them! Rooms were made up every am & turned down every pm. Breakfast was inc.& fresh every am in the villa with plenty choice. WhatsApp was used to communicate with staff, a great idea! The location was lovely, away from the hustle & bustle of Ubud, with some lovely cafes/restaurants on the path leading into Ubud. (The Pomegranate & Pukako) Ubud is around a 10-15 minute walk and again little extras like brollies, mosquito cream & a torch provided. It is a magical place and needs to be stayed at to believe! Can't thank the staff enough for making our stay so special, we will be back.

The most beautiful villa with stunning views of the rice field, luxurious over sized bed with the softest sheets, everything styled to perfection with guests supreme comfort in mind. I can’t praise the staff enough, they go over and beyond in every way! We left feeling like family. we were absolutely blown away at the level of care during our stay, and have already booked again as we can’t wait to go back. This is by far the nicest place we have ever stayed!

It was a beautiful property located just outside of the main town, so away from the hustle and bustle. The rooms were stunning in their design and so comfortable. I loved the carved furniture and wall designs and the outdoor shower! The mosquito net around the bed also added both a practical and luxurious touch. The views were lovely over the rice paddies. The staff were owners of the hotel and a family and it really felt like they had welcomed us to their home. The breakfasts were also delicious - we really recommend the Indonesian breakfast. We loved our experience and would definitely come again!

AustraliaMade and the staff here are so helpful and friendly. We had a great couple of nights. I’ve been to Ubud six times and this is by far the best place I’ve stayed. The location is walking distance from central Ubud or you can take a scooter. Incredibly peaceful as no cars can come down the walking path. The villa is clean and beautifully designed in a Balinese style with stunning view from private pool.

All it’s perfect, the personal is amazing, the villa too. You’re near the center 10 15 minutes to ubud palace by a little road in the middle of rice terrace. Differents restaurants less than 5 minutes walk. The breakfast is delicious and bigger. I totally recommend this place if you want a beautiful place, kindless persons and calm. Thanks you so much Made, Wayan and Kitut.

United KingdomThe fact we didn’t book for longer and had to leave! NB: for those with accessibility requirements. The route to the villas may pose a challenge, because you can only travel by foot or motorbike, along a narrow path amongst the rice fields.
Our stay at Airsania was nothing short of magical. we loved it so much we booked an extra night! These villas represent the true essence of authentic Balinese culture with luxury threaded through. Whether a spiritual person or not, as you enter the villa you instantly feel connected to the land, with the rice fields, tropical flowers and sounds of nature. The service was nothing short of exceptional, Made and his team welcomed us with such warmth and heart; no request was too much for them. We loved the 10 minute walk through the rice fields (where we could unexpectedly grab some great local food and coffee) to reach the bustling and busy streets of central Ubud - it felt like you were part of a secret jungle haven. Thank you so much Airsania, we can’t wait to come back next year!

IndiaThe Jacuzzi in the pool only had cold water.
The villa is situated in the paddy field areas of Ubud. Though it doesn't have a road that is accessible by car (only by foot or 2 wheeler) but is great to relax and enjoy, away from the hustle of the main streets. The distance from main Street is walkable. The villa is absolutely beautiful with great amenities like a private pool and a bathtub with an outdoor vibe. The staff was very friendly and helpful and we also asked for a floating breakfast arrangement and an in-house massage service(can be availed at an extra price). The property is clean and well maintained and is value for money

United StatesThe location is a little off the beaten path (just a 10-15 min walk to the main road, but the path is too narrow for cars so you'll have to meet any drivers on the main road).
The pool and the view from the pool into the rice paddies was stunning. The bed was comfortable and the mosquito net was really useful. Hosts were very responsive and welcoming.
