- Floor tiles were very slippery when wet particularly around the outdoor shower area. - The bed base (squeaked at the slightest movement) and mattress are past their best and could do with replacing. - A friendly warning...don't leave food on the kitchen bench overnight. We put most food in the fridge but left 3 bananas on the bench (wrapped in plastic) and the next morning we had one banana and some scraps left. Suspect the squirrels or bats may be the culprits! Not the fault of Ajanta but something to be aware of.

- Great location, quiet but close to cafes, bars, restaurants and shops. Private path (with locked gate) to rear of complex gives access to beach (although you have to run the gauntlet of shopkeepers to get there!) - Our one-bed villa (Villa C) was huge with a nice outlook to our private pool. - The pool was a good size and refreshingly cool in the heat of the day and evening. - Reception staff were friendly and welcoming. - The outdoor kitchen looked over the pool and was equipped with stovetop, fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster and basic kitchen utensils.

No fault of the property but Little Bird Warung across the road had quite loud live music in the evenings until 11pm ish.

The villa and pool were so spacious. My husband worked on his laptop in the air conditioned kitchen/lounge whilst I was in the pool :) Having a full second bathroom/toilet was amazing. Fantastic location, a few minute's walk through the back gate to the beach. Bed very comfortable. Staff very responsive to any of our needs. I purchased the wrong power adaptor and the manager just happily swapped it for me.

The air conditioning wasn’t the greatest in the unit we stayed in and the construction noise was annoying.

The internet dropped out a bit which was a little annoying, but that was a minor thing. We really loved our stay.

Location was excellent. Quick walk through the back entry and the market to get to the beach. A polite “No thank you” to the market ladies and the humbug is kept to a minimum :) The villa is private and the staff do a great job keeping everything clean and tidy. The 1 bed villa has two buildings either side of the private pool, one with bedroom and bathroom, the other with kitchen, living and second bathroom. All the conveniences you need for a comfortable stay. Really lovely food and coffee options nearby. Our favourites were Warung Little Bird (across the road), great flavours, local Balinese food, amazing iced cappuccino! Over the Moon and The Glass House are also nearby and do wonderful coffee. Soul on the Beach for a refreshing coconut and a lovely meal.

We had some dramas when we arrived at 2am from a long flight shower in horrendous sewage smell was so bad not great after a long flight. But they came fixed it about 10am till 12 so water was better after that.

the cleanliness of this place is a big downfall as well as the air con not being good either. In addition to this, our jacuzzi flooded the bathroom due to plumbing issues and the water pressure in the shower was not great either. The laundry service was quick and cheap, however, my white garments were returned with black stains on them

The size and location of the property is amazing bang for your buck! The staff were very polite and helpful too

The villa floor was a bit dusty. Room slippers were not provided so you could actually feel the dust when you walk with bare feet inside the villa.

The villa was huge, the pool water temperature was just right, and the bed was very comfortable, with fluffy pillows. The location is also fantastic, so close to beachside restaurants and bars through the back exit.

The only problem with our stay, was the fact that construction was going on next door overnight. Not the property's fault, but we did need to wear headphones to sleep.

A very small criticism, the price you pay you would expect good tv reception and cable tv. Not that i am there to watch a lot of tv but at times it could have been handy. We did have rain solid for three days and nights

All the staff at Ajanta were fantastic, always saying good morning etc and nothing was too hard for them

Great location, huge villa with lovely outdoor area & pool. Large fridge and kitchen. Dining table - even a baby grand piano. Plenty of fresh towels and lovely fruit on arrival. Lots of filtered water. There is also a 24/7 connected to the villas which is free for guests to use.

I didn’t like how the doors didn’t completely shut which then allowed mossies to come in hence getting bitten. Pool tiles coming off bottom of the pool. Tiles around the pool were slippery. Shower head squirted every where.

I liked the the location and that it had beach access. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

To get to the beach walking you have to go through a market of people trying to sell you stuff or show you their shops which got a bit tedious at times (not the hotels fault though obviously)

The staff are amazing! Can’t do enough for you to make your stay more enjoyable. Rooms are clean and spacious. Location is great. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Bit of an issue on check-in with our villa not ready at 2pm. Beds were very hard and gave us all sore backs. Pool was heavily chlorinated when we were out to lunch one day, when we returned and swam we were subsequently told off by staff even though we hadn't been advised. We're told we shouldn't swim in it for 24 hours which is not great when we had specifically booked and paid for a villa with a private pool.

The 2 bedroom villa was huge with bedrooms upstairs. The location was very central to beach and great restaurants on road. The garden and private pool were private and nice size. Breakfast was prepared in the villa each morning and was great
