Bed was uncomfortably firm - needs proper mattress topper. Downstairs room was a little noisy from early morning staff, and guests upstairs. I would choose upstairs room next time. No daily water supplied for bathroom (brushing teeth) first time ever I’ve encountered that in Bali. Tv basically had one channel working, but didn’t bother pursuing.

Great location right in the centre of Sanur. The room was really comfortable and clean. Loved the pool and the breakfast was delicious. Very friendly and helpful staff. Will definitely stay for longer next time!

Akaya more than met my expectations and photos are a true indication of how beautiful the rooms and property are. Could not fault and a big thankyou to all the staff who were just wonderful. Absolutely perfect for a solo traveller.

The accommodation was great the location can get very congested with traffic and we found it hard to get out to the ferry.

The staff waited up for us as our plane was delayed. The room was very clean and the bed very comfortable. The cafe was excellent and the food was lovely.

The pool could have been a bit cleaner

Very clean and comfortable hotel with wonderful staff and great breakfast (loved the banana pancakes). The pool area (equipped with pool towels) is very nice as well to just relax. The location of the hotel makes it very easy to explore Sanur or get to the port to get to the other islands. In comparison to most other hotels I’ve stayed in during my travels in Bali, Akaya is super clean, and the room, bed, shower, etc make it super comfortable to stay here.

I was extremely happy with the food and service and would say there was nothing they could improve on.

The breakfast was above our expectations. Many different choices to choose from.The staff from the Cafe were always friendly and they served our breakfast upstairs on the terrace every morning with a smile.

Smokers. People would smoke on their balconies and you could smell it in your room. It would be better if it was a smoke free hotel.

Exceptional hotel. Although I have been to Bali numerous times, I've never stayed in Sanur. I hit the jackpot when I discovered this gem of a hotel. The rooms are spotless and the staff are truly amazing. Very professional and very friendly and I can't wait to go back next year.

The bed was a little hard for my liking but that's just personal taste. Still got a great night's sleep.

Great location in mid-Sanur. Close to warungs, supermarket, pharmacy, spas, shops and the beach. Loved the small size, never felt overrun. Pool was a perfect temperature. Staff were lovely, very helpful and always smiling. Really appreciated the water filter to refill water bottles. Great breakfast at Cafe Akaya.

At night you can hear noise from a nightclub, but it quietened down around 11pm. The bed was a bit on the firm side for us.

The staff were gorgeous, both in the hotel & Cafe out the front. The pool, room and huge lounge area upstairs were all beautiful. It was so good to be able to fill up our water bottles from their filtered water machine whenever we wanted. Booking in & out was easy, they looked after our bags for a couple of hours. The coffee from their Cafe was the best in Bali & even had oat milk. The food was great too. Great location with a beach cut-through very close by.

Curtains let a little light in at night from the outside lighting that was left on all night. Curtains that pulled right across the door would have helped.

Beautiful setting in central Sanur...such comfortable rooms and staff we're amazing... Beautiful pool to do laps in...so clean everywhere...
