It is located next to a nicer shipping mall with lots of nice shopping. Walk a bit is Juta Beach. Surrounded by nice restaurants n pubs. Rooms are super clean, comfy and large room

Just the walk into the driveway beside the shopping centre each time we returned to the hotel. But eventually you get used to it and don’t mind.

We noticed ants in our room despite keeping it clear from exposed food. Also, quite disappointed with the dinner included in our half board package. Hotel did message us immediately after booking to clarify that dinner is a one-time affair (apparently 'Half Board' was a limitation of Booking.com listings), so we kept the booking thinking that it would be a nice dinner for V Day. However, what we didn't realise was that beyond breakfast, the hotel's Depot restaurant mainly stays open for room service or light food menu. So what we got was an ala carte 3-course frozen food menu for two e.g salad + chicken schnitzel, fish and chips + ice cream and frozen banana fritters dessert (because the listed fresh desserts were 'sold out') in an empty restaurant. The food doesn't taste ultra bad, but for SGD 60 top-up from the Bed & BF rate, we really expected more than this dinner rip-off. We're never booking such a package again from Aloft Kuta.

Spacious, comfy room with great layout for couples to have a chill stay (dining lounge area, armchair, balcony seating, large Smart TV that can swivelled towards bed). Liked the semi-open bathroom layout, but casual friends or families with teens may find the unsealed space and frosted partition door insufficient for privacy. Pool and gym are small but nice to have. Breakfast variety was good enough for our 3 nights' stay. In particular, we loved the fresh Bali drip coffee station manned by staff like Yuda - it was a hit with all guests. Friendly reception and breakfast staff who try hard to please guests. Our half board package did provide 2 cocktails at the lobby bar, where guests can play pool and PSG games. There are also 24-hour business stations, Refuel Corner, jenga nights and yoga sessions for guests.

Room service isn't 24/7 was the only negative thing I noticed. So if arrive at night after your flight try get a meal outside or order on grab.

Very friendly staff and clean facilities. I got sick during my stay in Bali, and the staff called and helped get a doctor to my room, as well as they offered me a free meal and checked in on me to make sure I was feeling better. Something I won't forget. The staff is always ready to help and make you feel very welcome.

VERY loud music in the lobby when I arrived. Hard to talk to reception. The band played Baby shark and Frozen and it felt like a kids birthday party! Did not want to use the bar because of that.

Overall everything went beyond my expectations. All staff were fantastic, especially Helen from reception and Shirleen from Depot restaurant who went above and beyond with service. Room was clean and tidy, and hotel is in a great location.
