There was nothing to dislike, but those staying should be aware that you really need to be ok driving a scooter to get around. This is no different to any other part of Uluwatu but there are no footpaths and minimal taxis. Scooter (and occasionally foot) is the best transport.

The villa is absolutely stunning - large pool, beautiful outdoor bathrooms, strong air conditioning and everything you need is available already within the villa. The hosts were so easy to liaise - Erol & Evi and one other man whose name I didn’t catch unfortunately, but they were all brilliant! - with and had partnerships for all the things you need / would want to organise while in Uluwatu eg scooter hire, massage and airport transfers.

The villa was absolutely stunning, with a lovely pool area, day bed and hammock. Everything is of high quality and lovely. The staff were fantastic. Unfortunately I was ill on the last day and they got medicine for me and granted me a late check out to help me recover. This was so kind and appreciated as I was not in a good way. I will recommend to all my friends and family and will definitely return. Thank you so much!!!

We loved our stay at Amaka villas ! The villa was spacious and beautiful . The staff were very helpful and kind. Both rooms were beautiful, clean and well organized. The kitchen area was in lovely open space. The area where the villa is under construction however this was not a problem at all. It is close to the shops and restaurants. You can easily rent a scooter to move around. Lovely stay and highly recommended. A big thank you to the lovely staff !

Loved the villa so much I didn't really want to leave my room. The villa is not by the main road, it was really quiet and peaceful at night. The decor is fantastic and the space very generous. I had the 1 bedroom - there were plenty of space for me to relax both indoor and outdoor. Cleanliness was good and bed very comfortable as well. Location was also great with plenty of nice cafes within less than 10 mins of commute.

The staff were so responsive, friendly and kind. Super easy to communicate with over WhatsApp and would go out of their way to help us. The villa itself was well maintained, clean and very comfortable. We absolutely loved our stay!

- Overall service could be better for this price. It is more like a luxurious airbnb with daily cleaning service than an actual hotel. No front desk, no breakfast options and no services provided other than cleaning (also no laundry service). - There is a nespresso machine in the room but you are charged 20 IDR per cup (not even Nespresso brand), which is a little bit ridiculous given the price of the room and the fact that there is no breakfast option available. One would expect it to be complimentary to have a cup of espresso coffee in the morning without being charged like an actual barista is making it for you… - The villas are quite close to eachother. Due to the bathrooms being placed outside one can hear its neighbours when they are using their toilet, which is not ideal. Moreover, when you have noisy neighbours this can be heard even when you are inside your own villa. It would be beneficial if the villas were actually completely sealed of from eachother

Very spacious and luxurious villas. The private pool was great and the villa was cleaned thoroughly twice (!) a day. The location is nice and quiet but not too far away from restaurants etc.
