How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The road to the hotel was very narrow and could be dark at night. Got few dogs along the road but no worries it wont attack you. There were always a foul smell coming from the bathroom and could disturb ur nose
I like the location near to the beach also about 10mins walk to my fav cafe 32do. Very quiet since its located at the back of main road. Staff was great very pleasing. Room was cleaned everyday. Overall we enjoy 1 week of staying here.

What I didn't like about this hotel is that the air conditioning wasn't cold enough for me, the hot water wasn't working properly, and they didn't provide hand wash.
I stayed here for two nights. The location is very good, and the staff are helpful.

- some of the towels in their stock could be replaced - some of the furniture had slight usage marks
- Everyday room service - Staff very friendly and helpful. If you ask, they will try and make it happen. - 100% worth the price (expect nice, but not fancy)

The safe box was poor, not connected to the cabinet and could be picked up and carried away, the batteries were failing causing it to go into alarm mode and also made it impossible to open, I had to get the staff up to the room on four occasions to sort it out but nobody tried changing the batteries. I also upgraded after one night ( I stayed for four) to get a room with a view, the safe box in both rooms was faulty.
The staff were lovely. The pool was refreshing. The breakfast was good.

The street where the property is located made us a little bit uncomfortable 😬 the restaurant isn't operating and couldn't get our laundry done. This wasn't told before we arrived.

The bathroom could be a bit better. It was very moldy, and the vent wasn't clean. The dust kept coming down to the toilet every time we turned the light on. The wifi connection could be better.
Great Location. Walking distance to the town, potato head and Mrs Sippy. The restaurant was in renovation, so we didn't have breakfast in the hotel which was ok as there are plenty of cafes nearby. The room was comfortable.

Location wasn't too good, the pool was average, lots of surrounding construction, so balcony we paid for was pretty much obsolete
Water pressure was good, staff were friendly, very helpful, and accommodating.

The road to the hotel is currently pretty dark. Not so comfortable for a solo women traveller during the night. Getting onto the balcony was hard work and then there was no table or chairs out there and the aircon was pumping exhaust onto it. Mosquitos in the lobby were pretty hectic. Bathroom a little small considering how decent the room size was. These were only small things, pretty good value all in all though.
Room was nice and spacious and clean. Location was pretty good for price. Looks like its still in construction though. Staff were attentive when asked for things. Very good value considering though.

The road heading towards the hotel had no lights, hence walking back to the hotel in the night can be challenging. The area in front of the hotel is under construction when we were there, so there were some construction noise in the morning (this will not be a problem if you leave in the morning for brunch!).
The location was really great, despite being in the town area, it was peaceful. The staff was friendly and accomodating as they had a luggage holding area (in case you check-in too early, you could leave your luggage there and walk around the area!). The area was easy to navigate to via online ride-hailing services. It was also 10mins walk to the Kayu Aya and Petitenget beach, a less crowded beach (unlike the Seminyak beach) which has beautiful sunsets!

The entire stay we were there the lift was broken. It is directly across from a construction site. But the staff can’t help either of those things! It is just unfortunate.
The room was cleaned daily. Everything was spotless. Very modern, the bathroom was lovely and the bedroom was comfortable.
