The room was very " compact " so found that a little uncomfortable for 7 days with virtually no hanging space or surfaces to store possessions. The room needed a bit of maintenance.

The position of the hotel was just perfect, as it was just off Marioboro St and close to all the other attraction, markets ,museums and station. The breakfasts were fabulous, with so much variety and the breakfast staff were exceptional keeping everything fresh and clean, which was a huge job as it was packed everyday ...public holidays ! The reception staff were also exceptional, friendly welcoming and helpful. We were there for a week of chaos out on the streets, but our hotel remained quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed our stay .

All of the staff is really friendly and kind. The location is great! You can reach the middle of Malioboro just by feet in no time! Room was clean, facility was good, breakfast was tasty, have the best 3 days stay ever! Holiday could never be better!

The location of the hotel is awesome despite it is situated at a very busy and famous street, not noisy at all. Cleanliness and comfort of the hotel, room, the bed and pillows are beyond expectation. We had a good sleep and rest. Finally, customer service rendered by staff Mr Yoga is of a 5stars hotel. Assisting us in anyway possible. Thank you! Definitely recommended and I myself will choose this hotel for my next visit in Yogyakarta city ❤️

The bathroom shower needs a curtain or door because everything gets really wet.

The breakfast was amazing, and the location was great. The small pool was a great addition to everything however it's not made to spend much time there.

There was an occasional sewer smell from the bathroom. The wifi was ok, but sometimes dropped out. The room was quite small. But none of these things were deal-breakers. We would be happy to stay there again!

The location in the heart of Malioboro made it easy to get around. Staff spoke English well and were lovely and helpful, eager to help book a Grab or whatever we needed. Breakfast was extensive with a large spread of Indonesian breakfast items and made to order eggs. The room was clean and had everything we needed - including a rare sighting of a hair dryer! The hotel had mostly Indonesian guests, which gave it a more local feel.

The room was quite noisy from the hall though there was very little street noise. We would have liked hand soap at the basin.

We enjoyed our stay at Amaris Hotel. It is very clean, but didn't have some amenities, like tea and coffee making facilities (though there was a hot water point in the hallway), luggage storage, hand towel and soap pump at the hand basin. BUT the staff were great, even without much English, organising iron and ironing board and a top sheet for our bed. The breakfast was a great spread of delicious mostly Indonesian food. We loved being close to the Malioboro Mall.
