Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe room was clean enough but definitely in need of a deep clean. There were a couple of (hopefully) makeup stains on the sheets and towels. There were some scum/water marks on the walls in the bedroom and bathroom. The hotel overall was a little run down.
Staff were great, the location seems good. Close to the beach, food, shopping and massages. The staff were all lovely. We paid $50 AUD per night. For the price it was pretty good.

AustraliaThe photos they put up of the hotel were old. The hotel was out dated and needs renovation. I reacon the photos were taken about 5 years as things are now run down at the hotel. We had breakfast there one morning out of 3 as the breakfast wasn't very nice. The bread was old. The gym room smelt old. No swim up bar as no worker there. We asked when someone will be servicing there they said from 9pm. None was even there then. There was also no rooftop bar as no lights there at night.
I liked how the rooms were cleaned expect the mold on the mirrors. Beds were comfy. Good location not far from shops and beach. Staff were friendly.

AustraliaHowever, the owner might think of sustainable maintenance of the hotel as it's getting quite different from the pictures showed in Booking.com. Understand it requires a bit more profit after covid finished and wait until the tourism back to the Pre-Covid period. But it would be sad to see a nicely designed hotel to get old. In addition, the lighting of the room can be stronger, yet it could be subjective to each customer.
The design of the hotel and the roof top garden was still good to have a short walk at night to the price.

ItalyThe rooftop is unused so I can't go there for a drink or sunset. I arrived an hour earlier and they charged me 100k RP for early check in even though the room was ready. Overall I don't think it was a good value for money considering what the local offer is in Bali.
The place looks nice , is clean and very central.

AustraliaThe bathroom is a little small and not particularly well designed (eg the door doesn't easily clear the Bathmat & there's only a hook for the towels behind the door (ie. no towel rail). The aforesaid lift was out of action for all four days of my stay. The Bain Marie food at breakfast was generally cold The Pool is great but is also a little too wide for the space available - there is very little room to walk around the pool behind the deck chairs
This is a modern, clean hotel located very near 66 Beach (great Sunset watching) and also some great shops and restaurants (Yamma Ya Italian and Santorini Greek especially noteworthy). The staff are all excellent and friendly with a particular shout out to Reni who can do anything and everything (including lugging a heavy bag up stairs when the lift wasn't working) with her beautiful smile perfectly intact.

AustraliaThe rooms were okay. I think a total renovation would attract a lot more clientele. The whole hotel looks dated and not very well maintained.
The location is very good, right on the border of Legian and Seminyak. I had breakfast once and it was very ordinary, quite limited options. I could walk 200 metres to a range of cafes and restaurants and get lots more options and better value for the price I paid at Ananta. The pool was quite good. Overall the whole hotel needs a total refresh. I could not fault the staff, they were all fantastic especially Rein at reception.

AustraliaThe rooftop area was lacking it’s a beautiful view and area just not very inviting
It a street back from the ocean so after about 6pm it gets very quiet The breakfast is very basic (eggs and rice) but it was off season so not many people to warrant a big set up Beds and pillows were very comfy Staff were lovely , accomodating, friendly and helpful. Rooms were nice were had a pool room with twin beds bathroom was nice toilet worked great / shower pressure was low (but is everywhere in Bali) was really happy with the room The pool is not as elaborate as some orcas tge pictures depicted but was clean relaxing and nice it doesn’t get a lot of sun though so the pool stays cool and shady which is lovely to cool off Some lovely restaurants and spas near by I’d stay again
