There are air vents in the room that are open to the corridor so you do get noise from other guests when going to/from their rooms but generally it was quiet. Otherwise all was as expected and good value for the location/price.

The hotel is down a quiet, traffic free alley right across from the Yogyakarta train station so very convenient but also quiet (the airport train goes directly to this station so only 2-3 minute walk to the hotel). The room and bathroom were basic but clean (no hot water but we knew this) and the owners and staff were very kind and helpful. We enjoyed sitting outside on their terrace and appreciated the availability of beers at a fair price (as the stores in the area don’t carry alcohol).

The ventilation gap in the wall above the door is completely open, so there is less privacy in the room in terms of noise. We saw an earthworm coming from the drain of the shower.

Location is very good, next to train station and and main shopping street. It's located in a quiet a nicely decorated alley with plants and paintings. Room is basic but good value for money.

We smelled smoke inside the room everytime people went to smoke on the porch. The room also was not sound proof.

All the staff was very friendly. Room was clean. Our AC did not work well so we asked for an electric fan and the staff went out of their way to find one.

The bathroom is pretty clean, but it kinda smell inside, I suggest putting mothballs or air freshener there. Also, blanket is too thin.

Location is superb, only 1-2 minutes walk from train station, walking distance from malioboro and attractions nearby. Host is helpful and check in/out process was smooth. Room is clean, there's TV, cool Aircon.

The owner and people working here are super helpful (local info, tours, transport) and for that alone I would recommend this hotel; it makes such a difference to tired travellers and I really appreciated the help. The location is also good; lots of restaurants nearby and round the corner from Malioboro. Nice to hang out on the terrace people watching. Rooms are basic but have everything you need (towel, soap, toilet paper, water). The front rooms have good air-con, the little room at the back just has a fan.

It is a real budget and clean hotel. The staff is quite nice and helpful, recommended many good restaurants for me and arranged trip for me. This hotel is also close to Malioboro Street, don't miss it!

No hot water!!!! That was the first time in my life I had no hot water. Bit of a shock. Also the internet in my room was really bad.

It was an okay stay for a night or two. Location was really good, just 100 m from the Central Station, very close to the busy Malioboro street but still in a quiet lane. I would not call the place a "hotel", it's more the homestay type of accommodation.
