A bit far to walk to eateries. However if you're lazy, deliveries in Bali is easy.

I can honestly say it was a dream property. Every single detail exceeded my expectations. I met here, for first time in my accommodations, a new concept for breakfast: somebody came in the kitchen of my villa to cook for us the breakfast every morning. Her name is Putu, an excelent cooker and a great person. The cleaning is made daily from the staff, the pool is cleaned daily, too, we've never felt the staff around, although they are a lot of people who worked for our comfort. Actually, the Balinese people are the kindest and the warmest on the Earth. The communication with the manager, Manik, was excellent, too.

The area is not walking friendly.

Breakfast was wonderful. Having somebody cook for us each morning was very relaxing. Location feels very peaceful although the road outside is full of scooters. Had no problems getting taxis and reasonably priced. A lot of good restaurants are within easy taxi ride.

We liked that the Anyar team were super friendly and helped out with our stay. Open plan loving was great and pool amazing. Breakfast every morning was a great start to the day. Putu was great with our little cooking classes and meals. Kush, a calm and easy going driver. Manik ensured everything ran smoothly.

Everything! We stayed in the 5-bed villa and it certainly had the wow factor. The staff were wonderful and the daily breakfast was delicious. It's in a quiet location but there are still plenty of cafes and restaurants within a 5-minute walk.

The showers are fixed which means it is not so easy to clean yourself as the water is only coming from the top and the pressure is a bit low. There are no common area just private villas which is not a problem we just got used to it as we were coming from other villas where there were common places as well.

Manik our host and the whole staff were exceptionally friendly and kind. They helped us with everything. We had our own chef in the Villa who cooked amazing breakfast for us and also showed my wife how to cook Nasi Goreng.

Do expect some insects in the toilet. As with all landed property, ants are expected in the external areas, so keep the place clean and free of debris and waste, use the bins provided. Don't leave food uncovered, as you may attract flies. Food waste should be thrown into the covered bin behind the kitchen. Mosquitoes are also present, so use the mosquito coils provided by the property in the external areas. Each room has a liquid mosquito repellent plugged into the wall socket. If your plan is to just rest and relax in the Villa, and dont plan to travel through and fro so often, then this might not be of concern. The villa is on the outskirt, deep inside an arterial road, so transport to and from the villa can be challenging, with congestion on the main roads during peak hours. Plan your time properly to cater for traffic situations, do allow for 30 to 60 mins additional travelling time during peak periods if you're going out of Canggu. Grab and GoJek do serve the property but I got cancelled on a few times due to heavy traffic outside on the main roads. A motorbike would be very convenient and faster for weaving through traffic if you're the adventurous type. If you prefer, the property does provide private transportation, so do make advanced arrangements with Manik (the manager) at a fee.

I love the privacy of the villa; off the road so it is quiet. A private road serves the estate and the entrance of each villa in this estate are connected by this road. The staff took care of us really well; kept the place clean and tidy. We booked a 3 bedroom Villa, and each room had an ensuite toilet, each with two sinks, a bathtub and two showers. Towels and basic toiletries (shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, hand soap) are provided; pool towels and umbrellas are in a basket in the living room. The toilet is non air-conditioned, separated by a sliding door to the air-conditioned bedroom. We had daily breakfast selected from a menu, at your own time, and the food was nice. You can also ask the caretaker to cook lunch and dinner for you too, just give some money for groceries or buy your own groceries and they will cook them for you, also at your own time. The pool was also clean and large enough to swim short laps. There are some cafes and shops just a short walk away, so it's convenient too. If you order Grab or GoJek, do state the dropoff/pickup point at the green "Anyar Estate" sign along the road.

At night mosquitoes were biting me if I sit outside. There are two mosquito coils that the staff installs every evening but maybe it is not enough for the size of the villa. But I also did not use a repellent spray at the moment, maybe if I use it then it would be better. Nobody came to the villa at the check-out time though I mentioned the specific time to the manager in advance. Not sure if it is normal for Bali or not, but in Vietnam we usually have some staff coming both at check-in and check-out time. Would be great to improve it so guests would feel the hospitality not only during the stay but also after the stay. When I booked the villa seemed a bit costly compared to other options in Canggu but after the stay, I think it is great value for the money I paid.

The villa is gorgeous! Super comfortable, stylish, spacious, and peaceful. Exceeded my expectations. I know it is good when looking at the pictures on the internet and reading other reviews but in reality, it was even better. Check-in was easy. The manager texted me in advance on WhatsApp and when I arrived, the security guard helped me to go to the villa. One of the touching things for me was talking to the private cook. She came every morning to cook at the villa and we can chat for an hour about everything, she has very good English as well. All the other housekeeping staff also did everything perfectly and I felt that they care about each small detail.

Be aware that the location is quite interesting. There are plenty of restaurants and gyms etc but it’s not an ideal place to go for a walk, go for run etc. The roads are incredibly narrow and busy. But this does not take away from the villa itself. Just a head up

The villa is well maintained and surrounding area is quiet hence enhance privacy and comfort. The host is responsive and provided all of our requests with ease. The only minus point is only 1 car park space and it is quite narrow/difficult to park but if you bring a driver or motorcycles that shouldn't be a problem.
