I had a wonderful stay at this fantastic guesthouse. The rooms were clean and spacious, ensuring a comfortable experience. The breakfast, though simple, was surprisingly enjoyable. I must commend the host for their exceptional hospitality. They arranged a scooter rental for us and allowed us to borrow it on the day we left, which was incredibly convenient for transporting our bags to the port. Overall, it was an excellent experience, surpassing our expectations.

While there wasn't anything we particularly disliked, there were a couple of minor considerations. The room had an older water geyser that only provided either hot or cold water, without the option to mix both. Additionally, the guesthouse entrance had an incline, so extra caution was needed when navigating it with a scooter or motorbike.

The property owner's residence was situated adjacent to the hotel, creating a guesthouse with a hotel-like ambiance. The property owner himself proved to be a true gem, offering unwavering kindness and exceptional assistance throughout our stay. He was incredibly accommodating, ensuring breakfast was served at our preferred early hour and treating us with the utmost courtesy. For travelers seeking guidance on local attractions and optimal visitation times, the owner was a wealth of knowledge, providing valuable insights on must-see places and ideal visitation times. Our stay on the second floor afforded us a breathtaking view, while the room itself was generously spacious. The bathroom was also of a commendable size, meeting our needs comfortably. Furthermore, the property featured a charming small garden at the front, adding to its overall appeal. They do have a parking garage where you can keep your rented motorcycle or Scooty.

Fried banana for breakfast everyday was the most amazing treat. Great way to start off the day when the host is so welcoming and informative. Very helpful with everything throughout our stay. We even rented a moped for a few days and it was perfect. Beds are super comfy, rooms are very spacious. We will be back to stay again, could not recommend this place anymore. Many thanks again for a great stay, it made our trip much more memorable.

Nothing One tip would be to maybe extend the breakfast menu to some banana pancakes as I think that would create the perfect amount of variety for guests :)

The host was incredible. He went out of his way to talk us through all there was to do, advising us on everything. We managed to book a cheaper than usual snorkelling tour AND boat back to Bali with him as well. He even drove with us to the port both times to make sure we got there okay. He is an absolute asset to the guesthouse and we would 100% stay here again if we could. Cannot recommend this great place enough. Free water too.

Poorly designed bathroom, shower head is directly placed over toilet. No hand towel provided for drying hands. Breakfast was included in price however, it was only okay.

Room was very spacious and comfortable. Very good AC system. Could rent scooter from property which was a necessity.

Everything at Arie guesthouse was perfect. Solot was the perfect host. The rooms were spacious and clean with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast every morning was great, and free water refill too! We also rented a bike for a very reasonable price. You can get to a lot of the main tourist spots from here by bike. Solot also booked our boat tickets to gili t and organised a taxi transfer to the ferry all for a very very reasonable price. If you are in Nusa Penida I would highly recommend Arie Guesthouse as your place to stay.

Our boat to nusa was cancelled due to bad weather we were in contact with the owner and they said if we got on the boat the next day we could have an extra day…boat was cancelled a second time and they were great they gave us a full refund! I hope we get to stay here eventually! Great service

The caring host of the house helped us arrange snorkeling. Delicious breakfast and unlimited coffee. The view from the second floor was amazing with Agung, and it was wonderful to witness the sunrise. The rooms were spacious with comfortable beds. The location was also great for exploring the island.

There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like and we have no negative comments to give however if we could suggest any improvements, it would be to add some shelves around the sink for toiletries etc and also in the shower but this is very minor. The breakfast only included 3 options too (sandwich, noodles or fried banana) so for some people, this may not be enough variety although Arie made them so well that it didn’t matter to us at all - he was even happy to make pancakes for us if we wanted them!

Amazing guesthouse!! Arie was the loveliest and most helpful man ever. He provides free drinking water to refill your bottle and coffee/tea whenever you want it. We rented a moped through him and also booked a snorkelling trip. He even took us down to the meeting point and helped us get all of our equipment. The room was so clean (cleaned daily), the bed was really comfortable and the shower was nice and warm. The breakfast was delicious too, especially the fried banana and Arie brought it up to our balcony at the time we requested it every day. We wish we could’ve stayed longer, I couldn’t recommend this place enough! It really felt like home and that was all thanks to Arie, he was always so happy to see us and greeted us with a huge smile.

There are features in the wall that let in natural light but at night the property’s outside lights are left on meaning the rooms are not completely dark. The shower head is almost directly above the toilet so make sure to close the lid otherwise you get a wet toilet seat, also the shower will drip on your head while you use the toilet!

Great location close to restaurants and an easy base to explore Penida Island. The rooms are spacious and clean. The owners are so kind and helpful and the fried banana for breakfast is delicious! Also you can fill your water bottle up with filtered water which is a massive positive!

Great stay at Arie Guesthouse. Arie is such a lovely host, helps you with everything. If you want to do a tour, book it with him - he has great contacts, you can rent a scooter with him and he has some amazing Tipps for Nusa Penida. Arie is always in a good mood and always there if you have questions. He helped us with our laundry. A few breakfast options - all very yummie. We really enjoyed our stay.

This guesthouse was fantastic! We absolutely loved our stay here, the room was extremely clean, the shower was hot and the host was genuinely kind, and was very helpful. I really enjoyed my fried banana breakfast so much, that I was looking forward to it every morning. The service was so prompt and on time, we had it for 7am, and it would be sat waiting for us freshly made at this time on the balcony. We also rented a motorbike here at an excellent price. Arie really made us love our stay here and we were very sad to leave.

I like absolutely everything. Arie is the best host, he is very attentive. The rooms were incredibly clean, breakfast was good and at any hour because Arie is the best. He will organise Moto rental, snorkeling tour, boat trips, everything. I really recommend him and I wish we could stay for some more days :) Thanks.
