Some minor maintenance issues in the villa, like power point box is not attached to wall.

This was our second stay here. We were welcomed with a flower arrangement in our villa and a note, a sweet touch. We love the villa with private pool and the location is amazing! One exit gets you to the fantastic supermarket, the other exit to lots of restaurants, bars, massage places… it really is a wonderful location. The breakfast buffet is smallish but totally sufficient. Freshly prepared juices are a bonus! The grounds are beautiful. Staff is wonderful! We will be back!

Not for those with mobility issues a lot of steep steps to navigate and in some parts of the resort there is no way around it.

The room was exceptional with the size and facilities. The grounds of the resort are fantastic and would recommend people spend some time exploring it you won't be disappointed, we really enjoyed the museum. The staff as with everywhere in Bali are beyond nice and will help you out with all your requests.

This must be what being royal feels like...
    • Leisure trip

    • Suite Pool Villa
    • Stayed 6 nights

Where to start? Staying at Arma Resort made us feel like royals! The room (Suite Pool Villa) was so much bigger and more than we expected, a true palace. The outdoor area with pool and jacuzzi was just magical! And so much privacy! Everything was kept very clean. Beforehand I was very afraid of lots of bugs, because it's right in the jungle, but except for some ants (outside) I have not seen a single insect (bonus points)! The staff is the kindest we've ever experienced. From reception and breakfast to massage and housekeeping, every single person at the resort is there to make it our best stay ever - and they managed! The resort itself is so beautiful with lots of tropical trees, a river, lots of fountains and ponds, and surrounded by rice fields. There are some steps but we brought a stroller for our baby and staying at villa 110 it was very doable as this one has least steps to get there. The resort is a short taxi ride away from the city center of Ubud, and there are lots of restaurants just right outside the resort already. Breakfast buffet and dinners exceeded our expectations. With the free room service for villas, it provided a fantastic solution to eat at our magical poolside while our baby was asleep inside the villa. Leaving Arma was tough as we felt right at home, so we're very excited to come back some time!

Menu selections were Thai and Balinese cuisine primarily. After a week, it was rather redundant. More selection on food items would be appreciated.

We loved everything. It was like visiting Fantasy Island. Staff was pleasant and always helpful. Facilities were lush and beautiful. Our villa was just as pictured when we booked our stay on booking.com and did not disappoint. Breakfast and dining was convenient on premises. Nightly entertainment was enjoyable. We explored primarily in Ubud and everything we wanted to see was easy to get to with the local Grab which was very affordable. If you have a chance to stay at the Arma, I would not hesitate. The only downside is that there are a lot of stairs to climb, so if you have mobility issues, this may not be a location for you. Otherwise, it was perfect!

Lighting in rooms and bathroom could be stronger.

Arma grounds are amazing , so lush and green. Buldings are in Bali style. There are so many facilities there, restaurant, cafe, pool, stages for live performances, spa. You can spend your days just enjoying the facilities and not even going outside. They also have a variety of activities, traditional dances, cooking classes etc. The food in the restaurant is great and staff is lovely. I took massages at the spa and was very happy! I only regret not staying longer in Arma.

Not enough outlets for charging your devices. You have to remove one from the lamp. And also if you have a western outlet you have to ask for a special adapter.

I love how everything was available on site. Breakfast included. I love the scenic walk to my villa. The pool villa was beautiful there was fish in the pond to my outdoor shower. I also loved the Legong dance show. Since I was staying there, they reserve a seat for me front and center. This hotel is in the Main Street only 15 min walk to the monkey forest.

Our room wasn't the best available as it had a bit of outdated furniture and a pipe smell in it, I was annoyed to have a room deodorant that was spraying fragrance every 30 min to cover up a bed smell ,I have noticed that our room was the only one to have such issue but last second booking didn't allow much time to staff for setting up another room, overall it didn't compromise the experience.

The location Is Amazing, immersed in a beautiful water garden, with loads of activities and an art museum to visit, we had booked somewhere else but decided to come here after a visit to the museum... staff is professional, well trained and welcoming, really recommend.

Second time staying here. Villa with private pool. Excellent accommodation. Staff are exceptional. Attentive and helpful. Great communicators. The front desk is super efficient and friendly. Breakfast was a buffet style and adequate. The coffee was great. The grounds of the resort are amazing. It's like living in the bush but a 5 minute walk to excellent restaurants and shops. A nice 10 minute stroll to the Monkey Forest and a twenty minute walk to the markets. Highly recommend this place to stay. Comfortable, clean and friendly.

Such an interesting hotel with beautiful natural surrounds. Breakfasts were superb and all hotel meals great with lovely presentation. We were lucky with timing that the owner was present and there was the 6 monthly blessing ceremony at the Arma Museum. We were treated like visiting royalty. Highly recommend this lovely place.

There's nothing I could fault about the ARMA resort!

Where do we start, the ARMA resort is absolutely stunning. It's a very quiet location off the main strip of Ubud but in a walkable distance. The hotel grounds are a sight to behold and the suite room we stayed in was great value, it was beyond our expectations. All staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, they really made our stay. There was a lot to choose from with the complimentary breakfast. We will definitely stay here again!

Superb grounds and wonderful staff. We stayed in a pool villa which was outstanding. Best place to see traditional Balinese dance - five nights a week. Aside from being a tranquil oasis in what has become a very busy Ubud, ARMA exists to support Balinese culture and art. It is unique, rich in history and a great place to stay.
