Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United KingdomIt seems to be chasing money off guests ie they may aswell take the self cooking facilities away and not have them.
Was really nice and comfortable, staff really nice and polite, but think this place is a little run down looked abit aged also a couple of things, it's advertised as you can cook yourself and fair enough there are a stove top ring, kettle and microwave but no toaster and a little tiny fridge that's most focused on there mini-bar so nowhere really to keep your food . The breakfast is very basic but edible they make a lovley omelette I must admit but offer you tea and coffee that you have to pay for, not very expensive but does advertise tea, coffee with breakfast. All in all nice place, lovley staff, very clean but seems to be more hotel villas than self catering..

United KingdomI thought that the breakfast selection could be improved slightly (bear in mind that I am a chef and have high standards). Also because the kitchen and living area is in the open, as a person from the UK it was sometimes too hot for me to enjoy those spaces.
We really appreciated how the staff was quick to answer to our needs, always nice and polite. The swimming pool was just a delight.

Hong KongIt needed to drive around 15mins to main area and beaches. The villas were actually located in other streets, separated from the lobby, they offered shuttle to send you to villa
Loved the private pool inside the villa. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Staying at Asa Bali Luxury Villas & Spa was a really nice break from the usual. It's tucked away in a quieter part of Seminyak, which was perfect for us since we were looking for something away from the hustle and bustle but still wanted to be close enough to check out the area. The private pool was definitely the highlight for us. It's great having your own little spot to cool off and relax without any interruptions. Breakfast was pretty good, with enough choices to keep us happy every morning. And the staff? They were lovely. Always on hand if we needed anything, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Overall, it felt like a little slice of luxury without being over the top. If you're heading to Seminyak and looking for a chill place to stay, Asa Bali Luxury Villas & Spa is worth checking out.

AustraliaOverall condition of the villa was not what I would call 'luxury' at all. It was good but I've stayed in much nicer places in Bali.

AustraliaThe buffet breakfast was not available for room service so you would have to buggy over to the main villa for breakfast but other than that, everything is great.
The location to us was perfect. Its 2/3 mins away from Legian, Kuta tourist centre. So its perfect location to do some shopping, walk to the beach or enjoy the night life. They have built a new renovated Villa which is a street away from the old (main) Villa & it was still a great location & it was easy for our drivers to get in & out of the street. Also its not too far from the main road.

SwitzerlandVery nice private villas. We think the location is great. Its about 1.5-2 km away from buzzling Kuta/Legian/Seminyak tourist center, but far enough for some quiet night to sleep. Staff are friendly and accomodating. Breakfast was OK. The Villa itself is nicely designed but we do think it starting to show its age. Perhaps the sofa and chairs cover could be changed to something leatherly for easy cleaning. But all in all, it was a great stay at Asa Luxury Villas.
