Not much to fault about this place. The only thing I would mention is if you don’t have a scooter or a way for transport it isn’t close to the shops to walk. But if you’re after somewhere that is more peaceful and happy to get in the scooter, it’s perfect!

This property was beautiful, such great value for money. We really wanted to stay somewhere nearby but also not in the loudness of the main streets. We also really wanted our own privacy so we instantly booked when we saw this place had our own pool and kitchen area!

There was construction happening from 6am to 5/6pm everyday I was there. It was quite noisy and builders could easily see into the villa from their ladder.

The villa was lovely. Loved the pool area and it was nicely maintained. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Outside of the busiest of Canggu so I recommend having a scooter or car to help get into town.

Rooster at neighbouring property close to our villa starting at 3:45am every morning made for a very poor sleep! Also, the location was good for a bit of peace and quiet; but it was a little inconvenient as you couldn’t just walk into Canggu. We also learnt the hard way that many businesses (including this Villa) label themselves as being in Canggu but they’re not technically; which confuses the drivers. There is multiple Askara properties and two of our drivers went to the wrong one. If you stay here, make sure you reference it as Askara Villa in Dalung.

Great size, well-appointed and very private. Walk through the gates to your private property to an abundance of space including a well-airconditioned bedroom and dressing room, a beautiful outdoor bathroom, a separate outdoor kitchen and large inground swimming pool. Staff were all very friendly. Introduction and short tour on arrival with a glass of fresh orange juice. Daily housekeeping to keep the property quite clean. 24 hour security at the property gates. Property was out of the main town so was quiet in terms of street noise and people. They offered laundry services (additional charge) which was handy. Clear and easy communication via WhatsApp.

Shower water was running weak, had to spend extra time showering. Property owners/managers might want to fix the shower heads/water pump.

The manager frustrated me initially as when we arrived before check in time as I had advised he was not very gracious about it though I had had no feedback regarding it being an issue; he appeared to prefer to be at a celebration for new year than welcome us as guests . the lawn needed a good tidy up to look nice and the place is generally very tired compared to the very smart photos that are online. Had to call the security in to get the gas going to make a cup of tea which didn’t make me feel comfortable in the villa . One coat hanger in two very large spacious wardrobes. Staff otherwise were very welcoming and friendly

The place is tired and needs a refurbishment, there is no need for ignoring walls needing repainting, cover up on wooden cabinets with chipped painting, the whole villa could do with a thorough spruce up/spring clean, microwave not working, water cooler dirty. insects are a slight issue that could be addressed with at least a daily spray or even a water feature with fish that would reduce on mosquitos, ants are a problem above and beyond what is normal for a tropical location, I have livedin Asia for 30 years and was resident in some pretty rural areas also so know that this could be and should be addressed, there was construction next door which is noytthe owners fault so I am ok with that apart from there was works at 10:30 pm on one night. With the high prevelance of mosquitos the owners could at least install a mosquito net over the bed. I hate to criticise the villa because I loved the place sadly with just a little attention it would have been worth every penny

The setting is lovely, well maintained garden, staff were great and accommodating, early check in was accommodated without fus, s pool is smashing and refreshing with an adequate external seating areas, kitchen was equipped

Not much I did not like. Everything exceeded my expectations. The only thing I could think of is the distance from any restaurant or beach. None are within walking distance but it only takes a quick motorcycle ride so it was not really an issue anyways.

The staff was attentive and kind, the room was always perfectly clean and taken care of, the villa was beautiful and felt safe. The villa had every amenity I needed if not more. The provided a speaker which was a nice surprise. Very spacious and the pool and outdoor bathroom was incredible.
