Just the lizards outside near our pool and outside the villa but we are in the mountains within their habitat , it just didn’t help that my husband has a phobia of them 🥴

The staff go out of their way to really make your stay special, and nothing is never too much to ask for. Please ask for April she customized and planned all our days there. The food was the best food I’ve had during my entire stay at Bali, the seasonings and the way in which everything is cooked to perfection. The view was breath taking I literally cried happy tears once I arrived, taken a back as to how stunning the view was, pictures do it no justice. I would advise to make this the last destination during your trip as nothing else will match up to this! I gave it a 10 rating but my husband wants to rate it 11 if we could ! That’s saying a lot considering we’ve travelled well and stayed in many luxury accommodations worldwide!

Everything was PERFECT : room, staff, pool, food, music, view. It was above our expectations. We weren’t in honeymoon but it totally felt like it. It’s a little gem in the top of the mountain of Nusa Penida.

The lunch food could be better, especially considering the price point.

The pool is out of this world. Sunrise is beautiful. The music/ambience is very peaceful. The room decoration is SO tasteful. The staff are so kind. The location is far from the touristy area which was perfect for the kind of vacation we wanted. The breakfast was good. The dogs are adorable :)

Beautiful villas, great value for money. Would definitely reccomend to stay there if you are in Nusa Penida. Spa is something to try as well. Therapists will come to the room. Pool is amazing and views 😍 are great too

The hotel was very beautiful, but the best of them was the staff and the food. Diana from the staff helped us with all that we needed and more. Organize transport, activities, food. Also they gave us a complimentary floating breakfast because of our honeymoon. We ate all our lunch and dinners at the hotel and was delicious. 100% recommended. 🩵

Everything was great!

10/10 - this was an amazing stay and highlight of our trip. I stayed with my partner and our friends were in the room next to us. The pool, food and drinks were all amazing. Best coffee on Penida. You really don't need to leave the accommodation if you didn't want to! We loved spending the afternoons by the pool overlooking the jungle. It was a fantastic view. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All staff were fantastic and made the stay extra special for my partner who was celebrating his birthday. The staff helped organise drivers and tours which made it so easy to experience and enjoy the island. On our snorkelling trip, we saw 5 Manta rays at Manta Point.

This place was magical. I got the villa with a pool and the sunrise every morning was incredible. The place is quiet and the staff are lovely. A beautiful place to visit, not far from the main harbour and there are only 9 rooms in the entire property so it felt really private and intimate. I went for my birthday and they went above and beyond to make me feel special and even decorated my room.

One of our best spot of all time! Super relaxing place with amazing and friendly staff. Restaurant and bar are also perfect. We came to explore the island just for 2 days, but decided to stay for the whole time bacause it was so perfect in every way!

I really can't flaw this place, the only minor thing I can think of was that the water took a while to heat up in the shower, but wasn't a problem.

Incredible views, staff were absolutely amazing and organised a complimentary birthday surpirse for my partner. Breakfast and dinner were great and good value. Very boutique feeling resort, the most memorable after many trips to bali. Highly reccomend.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, everything was exceptional

Atalaya Resort is a hidden gem, one of the nicest resorts we have stayed in. It was a small resort with only 10 villas which is perfect, the staff were all amazing, highly respectful, always helpful and went out of their way to to assist with any request and nothing was too much trouble. Spectacular views, food was delicious, we tried everything on the menu over the week that we stayed and the floating breakfast was awesome. Infinity pool was amazing and the resort had such a relaxed ambience to it, we didn't want to leave.

This was easily my favorite accommodation during 2.5 weeks in Bali due to its unique set up with an swimming pool overlooking the stunning landscape of Nusa Penida with the ocean in the background, in addition to the white stone used in the villa. Some places in Bali I splurged on, and others I took the budget route; this villa is one that you should absolutely splurge on. They may hopefully expand the # of villas available, but it is still somewhat limited. I highly suggest booking a villa here during your Bali stay before they sell out. I didn't book the villa with its own private swimming pool, though I'm sure it would be an interesting experience. The public swimming pool isn't usually too crowded since there aren't many people anyways, and it provides a great view during sunset. Staff were exceptionally nice, service was great, we were very comfortable overall.

The most stunning place to stay! Staff are so friendly and went above and beyond to help me with requests for my boyfriends birthday during our stay including decorating the room, printing a birthday message for him etc, floating breakfast was amazing, day trip organised for us was great too allowing us to go to the places we specifically wanted to visit on the island, couldn’t recommend staying here any more it’s a really special place to stay & also really friendly dogs especially Chico!!
