I recently stayed at Avani Seminyak with my son (4 years old). We had a fabulous stay. The one bedroom villa was lovely, a big space with privacy and great amenities. The resort had a good main pool and a very good restaurant. Breakfast was included in our stay and it was very filling. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend staying at Avani Seminyak.

Our room was right next to the resort laundry room so could often here staff talking late and night or early in the morning right next to our bedroom wall.

Everything was amazing here, location was close enough to main areas but far away enough from all the hustle and bustle. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The villa we stayed in was perfect, bed was great. The breakfast service was also really nice. Gym and laundry facilities were good.

The moment you enter Avani you can relax. The one bedroom Villa was exactly what the pictures show. We stayed for 14 nights and the service never faulted. They provide you with everything you could possibly need and the breakfast is amazing. I cannot fault the experience we had and will certainly return for future stays.

staff were amazing during our stay! cannot fault them, they really made our trip - they are super friendly, accomodating and genuinely care about your stay. no request was too hard for them and they even went the extra mile to find availability for my partner and I to check out late as our flight was at 11pm. the Villa was excellent as well as all amenities that came with our booking. room service is also delicious. the location is great; 10-20 min drive to all the major shopping centres and beaches and even though we were in the centre of Seminyak, the Villa felt safe and secure. we will definitely book Avani villas again! a big thank you to the staff for looking after us!

The hotel lacks a bit of the island vibe decoration elements. Villa itself didn‘t have much of a tropical forest vibe. Some of the interior was a little worn out.

It was all okay, I have just stayed at nearby hotels that are better value for money. Some of it honestly may be to do with how quiet tourism is in Bali now.

The service at Avani was very nice. The location is also nice if you want to have a quiet hotel but be able to find good places to eat and go out within 20 mins walk. Typically we like to meet other guests and have drinks etc but it was very quiet and everybody stuck to themselves. It is a small hotel so the facilities are usually very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. There are facilities to cook and watch TV in the room and it had a very nice and big balcony. On our last night my partner was sick so it was good to be able to get some takeout and watch TV. I've stayed in Bali many times and Seminyak specifically. I would say Avani is average to below average for the price.

The sun lounges by our pool, could have used cushions. They were pretty comfortable, but a little more padding would have been nice.

The facilities were top rate. The staff were fantastic; really lovely to deal with, couldn't do enough to make us comfortable. The breakfast we had were very good.

Everything was great. You do have to deal with some insects, so make sure you have bug repellant when walking around the grounds and the town. They do provide spray for insects to use inside the spaces, and they give a small bottle of natural repellent to use while you are there. But, it is always good to have some with you.

I loved my stay at the Avani resort in Seminyak. It was a beautiful property and I really enjoyed the proximity town so it was easy to access shops, restaurants, and bars. We had a villa with a private pool and small kitchen. It was a great space and I loved the layout. The room is divided so the kitchen area and bedroom was separate. This is a great thing in a tropical environment because food easily attracts insects and if you did have to spray for insects, you did not have to worry about doing it in your bedroom. The bed was also the most comfortable I have had outside of major American hotel chain brands and the rooms included a bathtub, shower and shower/toilet near the outdoor pool. Also a nice touch so you did not have to walk through the main spaces and get floors wet. The included breakfast was delicious and all of the staff were friendly and helpful.

The question is.. what didn’t we like about Avani? (Nothing) What a great resort. The food, facilities, villa, and staff were all fantastic. The villa is very central to many restaurants and shops and if you are wanting to have a chill day, Avani have everything you need without having to leave the premises. Special commendation to the staff at the front desk who always greeted us for a chat and Alfred, Yoga and the girls working at the restaurant for breakfast who we loved speaking to each day. Thanks for a great stay, we will be back!

The location is a little far from the main road and you can walk enough, but it may be a little uncomfortable with your child. And it was a little uncomfortable because the cat cried on the roof at night. During the three-day stay, the cat cried every night. If you are sensitive, please tell the staff in advance.

All the staff are very friendly and well-equipped with everything you need. In particular, there was a shared laundry room that guests could use for free, so it was convenient. Breakfast was delicious and the staff helped me a lot for safety when I got on and off the car.

I wasn’t a fan of seminyak in general.

If you choose to stay in seminyak and just need a base this is an excellent property. We stayed in an apartment which was new (seems much newer than the villas) and with excellent amenities. We were just staying in seminyak for 2 nights to shop etc and in between ubud and the beach. It was perfect for this purpose and has a great complimentary guest laundry. Breakfast was very good and even though we didn’t use it the pool looked very nice. All in all great value for money and the staff were all so friendly and accommodating.
