Location isn't great as you cannot walk to places.

Hosts were absolutely amazing and always asked what I had been up to or where I was going to explore. Great value for money.

Privacy can be an issue since the ground floor rooms are facing the main courtyard and everyone can see into your room. The hotel staff is a little chaotic.

The kitchen was sometimes a bit dirty, it just needed a deep clean but we didn’t use it too much. It was too far to walk anywhere but grab/ hire motorbike was easy.

The family were so lovely, always asking us about or day and giving us recommendations about where to go. The rooms were clean and the pool was lovely

I found it difficult to get into the pool, would help to have some steps.

The room cleaning everyday is not done properly. Breakfast pictures as shown are a little misleading as it very frugal while it is served very affectionately. Towels were very poor standard...old and had holes. The drive to the property is on a very bad road and Google takes you to some very narrow alleys to get there!!

It's a nice place with an excellent positive and proactive owner and his family who are there to help you during the stay. Basic facilities are good however with time property is deteriorating I guess. Overall decent play to stay!

The tap in the bathroom needs an upgrade and the shower head too was old and crusty.

Being there during the national school holidays. Some of the other guests (Indonesians from out of town, whole families) were leaving their mess in the common areas, being noisy and crass, blocking the access to my room, blocking my motorbike in the parking area. After they left, the place was great. Something in the bathroom kept leaking water (clean) so the bathroom floor was always a bit wet on one side, despite me leaving the extractor fan on all the time.

Thin walls and fat pillows

Incredibly friendly owners, cute neighbourhood a little bit away from the chaos but a short gojek or scooter ride to everything. Nice pool and breakfasts

The AC made a lot of noise, that was a bit annoying. It's a hotel where a lot of locals stay so there can be some noise, we came back one evening and there were 15 locals sitting in front of our door.. It would be nice not to allow children in the pool at 06:30 AM, so that the other guests could sleep.... Location was not that great but we could've known that. Only cafe/warung close is a place that's full of Russians. The breakfast was not great, but after we gave some tips it really improved. Sometimes we only got scrambled eggs and 1 piece of toast and 5 bananas, but the last day we got scrambled eggs, a nice fruit plate, butter, jam and 2 toasts. But it doesn't really feel like a good price for what you get.

The owners were very sweet. Spacious room and very dark curtains, which is nice. The bathroom was pretty, but we had to wait 5 mins every time until the water gets hot, which felt like a waste of water. :(

The location is a little far out and can be difficult to find however there are signs for it. It’s a quiet area however there are chickens that make a fair bit of noise in the night.

Very clean, bed sheets and towels were freshly washed, great air con and good wifi. Owners are really welcoming and friendly.

Repainting the rooms would add a lot to the feeling.

Note that this is a guesthouse not hotel. So don't expect room service. Would be great to have a mini fridge in the room or a bigger shared fridge as these were always full.

All the people working there were so so nice! I miss them already! They were always available to help while at the same time also giving us privacy.

A bit far away from the good restaurants/shops

because it was so remote, we had to drive to everything such as supermarket or restaurants. When you book, you book the guest house, not the villa, so only half of the pictures shown actually apply. the lighting in the rooms is very bad and doesn’t look comfy, and since we were travelling with a baby, we spend quite some time in the rooms. maybe change the lightbulbs to warmer light or add a bedside-lamp to make it more comfy.

the owner is very friendly, and didn’t mind us having breakfast later than we were told. The pool was clean and pretty like in the pictures and breakfast was simple but good. We got to choose our room (upstairs/downstairs) and we’re offered to move after a different room was available. the place is remote and quiet, but that also has some downsides

The breakfast could be more rich than a slice of bread with scrambled eggs or noodles (maybe the addition of some veggies or fruits would be nice).The pool was sometimes full of leaves and dust. The WiFi was not working in some rooms and the signal was weak as there was only one rooter for 20 rooms. The water pressure in the shower was very low sometimes. The guesthouse was a bit isolated, you can find the basics in 20 mins walking distance (I wouldn't do it in the night though), but the scooter is a must for visiting the attractions.

The room was spacious, clean and in good condition. The owner was friendly and communicative. The garden with the pool was quiet and nice to relax.
