Because the shower room doesn't have hanger at all, so usually we will change clothes in the washroom, but there are no door, so we need to make sure the other person who stay with us not accidentally cross by. I think the hotel need to figure it out to make it more convenient

IndonesiaThe parking space is very limited and the premise is located at the end of Jl. Simpang (blocked way). The Jl. Simpang is also crowded by visitors of the mall's cars that are taken land area beside the hotel, especially when near to closed hours.
The location is just next to a medium-class shopping mall called DP MALL, where we have anything that we need. Along Pemuda Street, there are also several bakmi jawa restos that u should try. The hotel ambience was very calming and the staff were friendly and helpful. Just add some aromatherapy scent along the lobby and the public area, and it will be perfect.

PhilippinesI was expecting the property to be along the main roads of Semarang. It is not. You will need a car if you want to get to nearby establishments and attractions. Fortunately, it is fairly easy to use the local ride sharing apps. You can also book the local Blue Bird cabs if need be. The next inconvenience is beyond the hotel's control, but I still did not like that there was ongoing construction beside the property during my stay. I found the area dusty. Lastly, the hotel lobby is designed poorly where cars will need to move backwards and forwards a few times just to complete a U-turn maneuver that all cars must make. If 2 or more cars are at the lobby, pray that the head car moves fast enough, so you do not end up wasting time waiting. This happened to me twice during my 2-night stay here. And generally you have to practice patience in Indonesia because almost everyone is willing to wait on one another out of kindness, so this is frustrating if you are in a hurry.
I have stayed at boutique hotels in the past, and I was pleasantly surprised at how premium the property felt for the price I paid. Normally, boutique hotels are clean, comfortable and chic. Awann Sewu lives up/meets this expectation. Maintaining this standard however, comes at a price that is normally felt via their rack rates. I am glad to share that Awann Sewu allows its guests to experience a premium boutique hotel experience at a reasonable rate. The property also has a gift shop on the ground level that offers trendy merchandise to go along with the usual boutique hotel facilities such as a gym, pool, bar, cafe/resto and spa. Keep up the great service Awann Sewu!
