The road to the property is not fully paved. However, renting a bike would make the journey much easier.

I love Kintamani in general , amazing place to visit and enjoy the real nature . The property is nice and has an amazing view . Staff also are kind very helpful.

I loved staying at the Ayodya Batur Villa. When I arrived the hostess upgrade my room to the suite, which was very clean, spacious and had a great balcony with a view of the mountain and black lava. The view from the hotel is out of this world, you’ll just want to keep staring at it. The food provided at the hotel was delicious and all the staff were really friendly and helpful. The hostess even helped me arrange a driver for my second day and then my transfer to my next location. I was there for two nights and I would highly recommend staying here. Please check out the area in Kintamani and don’t just come for the Mount Batur. It has some beautiful temples and cafes with beautiful views.

Be warned! There are a lot of steep steps to go to the room. #mindtheknees A lot of flies during the day if you are eating especially. It can be a nuisance.

Beautiful and very serene view of the mountain and black lava ash. Clean and neat room. Good food is served upon order. Wonderful, friendly, and accommodating staff. Excellent hospitality.

It was down one of the world’s worst roads - our taxi driver refused to drive down it. Be aware of that. Also, some complete weirdo had hung a small bag of cheese (yes, CHEESE) behind the bathroom sink, which had gone mouldy and the bathroom stank something awful. Why they’d do that, I’ve no idea. Some people just want to watch the world burn. But once located and disposed of the bathroom aired out quickly and was fine. Ketut was incredibly apologetic. Some tables and chairs, and maybe a day bed or bean bags, on the terrace would elevate this place even further.

The view. My god, the view!! Every time I looked up from my book, my jaw dropped. Ketut was SO lovely, and her mie goreng was the best we had the whole time we were in Bali. Try it. You won’t be sorry. One of the most remarkable places I’ve ever stayed.

It’s hidden gem… One of the Perfect place to heal in Kintamani. The property so clean. The view outside of property is so stunning. So lucky to have a chance stay here.

We knew it was far and a bumpy ride from other restaurants etc so as long as you are aware of this you will be fine.

Although there was a lot of cloud cover, it was still beautiful. Ketut was very accommodating in all aspects making sure we were okay and not paying too much for our pre booked activities. All staff were very accommodating. We were able to arrange transfer from our previous stay which was handy.

It's a bit away from the main part of Kintamani (as it's slightly down hill) but we didn't have any problem walking up when we went out for dinner etc.

Amazing location - the staff were great, amazing breakfast and really beautiful place to stay!
