There wasn't enough bathroom towels in the room. The room was a bit dark, because of the dark wooden design. The staff was a bit uninterested with customers. They make you feel you were somebody stops by from the street. The room wall isolation wasn't good, because of the fully wooden design.

This was a clean, relaxed hotel that gives you feel like you are in the jungle. The cleaning service was good, the room size was quite enough and nicely designed.

What a beautiful oasis in the middle of the chaos that is Canggu. The staff were great, the location was within walking distance of most things but far enough away to be peaceful, the huts and gardens were divine. This was exactly what we were hoping for.

Just to note that the property is very much in nature, so you may encounter some bugs. Nothing scary, but not everyone feels comfortable around them :) Also, while the staff made sure the housekeeping was always up to date, there was nothing similar to a concierge or a help desk, so make sure you can plan your trip by yourself.

The location is excellent, within walking distance to several restaurants and the beach. The facilities were comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping was exceptional! The pool as well was very lovely to relax by.

Bungalows are a bit dark but you get used to it - otherwise there was nothing that we did not like.

Really nice stay, no issue with animals in the open bathroom, really well maintained property. No traffic in front of the location. Amazing staff!

The cottages are pretty close together which means it's not the most secluded or private from other people. It didn't bother me too much, but had to be mindful of window blinds, etc. Inside of the cottages is also very very dark even during the daytime, with any inside lighting not doing much. It was to be expected tho, given that the cottages are wooden Balinese style homes. Finally, the gardens mean bugs, snails, frogs, and everything in between. I had no problem with that (enjoyed the nature feel actually), but squeamish people might suffer.

Loved how quiet, laid back, and relaxed the atmosphere is. A good night's sleep is guaranteed. Canggu can be hectic, so the calm of this place is exceptional. The cottages are absolutely stunning with so much lush greenery. the pool area is also well looked after and a pleasure to hang around. The staff is super helpful and I especially appreciated how squeaky clean everything was.

There was a rooster nearby which was very loud at 02:00 am, as well as a muslim temple. Could use some more towels and a hand soap.

The atmosphere was excellent, the swimming pool was always perfect temperature, the room was spacious, wifi was great. Staff was very friendly. The location was good for people that enjoy being more remote.

Amazing place to stay in Canggu! We really enjoyed our time at your place. All the cafes, shops, and salongs are conveniently close to Bajalo, yet far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We especially liked the outdoor bathroom and the Bali style interior. The staff are also all so lovely, friendly, and helpful. We highly recommend staying at Bajalo!

Rooms are a little dark, but it didn’t really matter as I wasn’t spending much time there at night - only to sleep.

Lovey and cosy property with an insanely comfortable bed! Loved the outdoor bathroom and luxe bathtub which was great to cool off in. There will be bugs and lots of centipedes in the bathroom area but they are harmless.

It would’ve been nice to have tea/coffee facilities in the room. They did have them in the shared kitchen at least though.

We loved the location, it’s only about 2 mins away from any main road, but it felt like it was miles away from the busy streets of Canggu. The outdoor bathroom was another massive highlight, a real novelty that was still practical and lovely. The pool area was also great, and the staff were super friendly too.

The room is sooo dark, it feels a bit weird. Gave us a feeling that things are a bit dirty, but probably it's the lack or light. Also the bathroom being outside and open is not great. I mean, it's beautiful, but also I was a little scared about the bugs I'd find going to the toilet or what would be in the shower with me.

A very peaceful place to stay in the busy Canggu! The location is really good, close enough to the main road, gym, restaurants, but also far enough to be quiet and peaceful. I found the common areas very nice beautiful and green, like you're in the middle of the jungle :) The staff is soooo nice and friendly. The pool is really nice and clean too. Overall a nice stay and I'd stay there again.

The rooms were dark, it just needs two more lights placed inside! It would've been nice not having the gecko in our room but it didn't bother us too much. If the pool could be only slightly colder that'd be great! It'd be more refreshing.

The huts were perfect for our stay. They had really great beds and pillows, we had a lovely sleep each night. The huts were a good size and were exceptionally clean. The staff at the hotel cleaned our rooms each morning and gave us fresh towels. We thought we'd be bothered by the bathroom being outside however it added its own charm. There were barely any mosquitoes around the property and didn't bother you when using the bathroom at night. Some reviews mentioned hearing people walk outside your hut, we were the first hut out of them all and barely heard anyone at night - it never disrupted our sleep. The pool was lovely, it wasn't cold but quite cool and there was shade by the pool as well as the pool chairs. It is still a budget-friendly hotel and while it was a great stay there are some things to be mindful of - the rooms are quite dark, the doors of the hut were a bit hard to use at times, we had a very large gecko living on the top beam of our room and while he barely disturbed us, he did leave the occasional poo dropping. We told the reception about him being there but sadly it's a bit too hard to get him down. This wasn't a concern of ours though as we are in their habitat. The location is fantastic!! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring all of the local businesses, Revolver cafe was our go to place for coffee and food, Acme was our a close second favourite and we also enjoyed using the local gym, pilates and boxing studios a minute walk from the hotel (it was so close!). If anyone is looking to book a place in Canggu this is central, has fantastic service and hygiene and is a great cost - this is your place!

But also because the bathroom is outdoor there’s a lot of different 🐛 if you are scared of them forget about it. Also the room is not soundproofed. the party boys live opposite to me always come back around 2 am and had long chats outside, woke me up two nights in a row.

It’s a nice place if you want to close to the nature. The staff are very helpful and very friendly. It’s great location. you can go to a lot of good cafe from there.

Calm quiet oase in busy canggu. Super comfortable bed and bed sheets. Good quality. The garden ia very beautiful, clean an cottages are perfect. The bathroom is very big and we liked the bath / rainshower very much. Staff is friendly and helps you out with everything!

The hotel style is very unique and beautiful, in the middle of a garden of tropical plants and a small pool, giving you a much relax feeling after the more busy city vibe of Kuta. The hotel located in a quiet area, but still walking distance to main street and many good restaurants. The outdoor bathroom is so beautiful with nature and vegetation, especially with lighting at night. (just be mindful of the harmless little millipedes taking a troll in the outdoor bathroom once in a while). Despite this interesting setting of cottage vibe, everything is very well maintained and clean, with room make up every day. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
