Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

SwedenThings missing from the Booking declaration: Wifi didn't reach room everyday. No deposit box, soap or dressing gown in the room as advertised. No bar or restaurant on the premises as advertised.
Nice garden, nice breakfast. Cat, birds, squirrel and an altar or outdoor shrine. Most staff very helpful.

AustraliaAsked for ground floor but put up stairs had trouble getting up and down. Safe didn't work I was there for 8 days had room cleaned once. I paid for toilet paper and you had 1 towel. Could have a small fridge in the room.

PolandI had to spend 3 hours to clean my bathroom, windows, floor Gosh! Horrible. The cleaning guy had so long nails on his hand he couldn't hold the broom in it.
Very very very dirty!!!!!!! Swimming pool dirty to the point that my 14 years old son got an ear infection. 4 days in fever. It is actually health hazard. Mold on the walls downstairs just unbelievable. Staff lazy, unfriendly, bed shits smell bad after washing. Only one person from staff was friendly ones or twice.
