Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

UkraineTerrible soundproofing. Broken doorlock to bathroom, and small sink. ~10-15 minutes to Ubud.
Nice staff. Clean pool and territory. Light and spacy room. They have cafe with view to rice field, and couple minites to waterfall (20K).

IndonesiaOne of the hidden gems in ubud area, especially if you're looking for a quiet getaway in country side. Fits perfectly for all, especially if you're with your family. The breakfast is very tasty, cooked by Pak Wayan Widnyana, who is a very nice person. And the waterfall behind it is beautiful. Oh, and also a nice dog named Kimmy, who is very sweet, would definitely make the cherry on top.

The place looks nice, room, pool and restaurant looking over a rice view.

MalaysiaThe 1hp aircon for that spacious room is a bit too warm, please upgrade or add fan in the room. The plug points isn't international socket, the plug point position is very odd as the mobile phone will be half hanging when charging. Toilet door isn't working, cannot lock.
Small and comfortable villa, simple and clean, friendly staffs. Family villa are spacious, can accommodate 5 adults and 1 child. Soft pillow, soft mattress and soft towel, we likes it so much. Nice breakfast, taste good and fresh.

Bulgariavery far from ubud - 20 minutes by motorbike. there is no shop or place to walk nearby, no restaurants. the hotel restaurant has very good prices, but the food is not tasty, everything is fried. when we didn't feel like leaving the hotel because it's far from restaurants, we ordered food for delivery from ubud, or during the day we picked up from the supermarket in ubud. the bath water was cold, not just lukewarm, but cold. as a woman i couldn't wash my hair even once in 5 days. there is no insulation and the first night we couldn't sleep because of the noise of the neighbors, the roosters and the dogs that kept barking. the following evenings we bought earplugs. around the villa, things are burning all day and the air is full of smoke. my husband wouldn't stop coughing all the time. the scooter they gave us from the villa was very expensive 160k rupiah, compared to changu we paid 80k rupiah per day.
very friendly staff. everyone was very nice.

IndonesiaMany of the things I will draw attention to will greatly improve your business: 1. Breakfast quantity is not enough. 2. They charge extra money on last day breakfast, which is supposed to be free. If you asked for extra bread or coffee, they charged without informing you. 3. No Merrier in the room 4. There is no room slipper in the room. 5. The room we booked looked different in online, No one can stay there, but later, when they changed that room and gave another bigger room, that's room was good, but they charged extra from me. 6. There is no whisky glass in the room. 7. There is no tissue paper in the room.
It is very silent and a good place for relaxation . Food prices are cheap. Staff are helpful. The swimming pool is very nice. The room is very spacious and clean. Room Service is very good. Overall experience is pleasant.

United KingdomThe rooms were very poorly insulated which meant you could hear everything going on outside your room and next door, there was alot of dogs barking at night (not the accommodations problem) but worth noting if you plan to stay here with children. The showers in both our rooms had poor water pressure. There is not much around the accommodation on foot so you will need transport options to get around. We enjoyed our stay here but noticed over the 5 days we were there that many people who are passing by, visiting the waterfall across the road and perhaps stopping in the restaurant for a drink or something to eat used the small pool facilities and took up the sunbeds around the pool (of which there are only 6 in total) personally we didn't like that.
The rooms were large and clean with a flat screen TV and two sinks which were cleaned daily. The pool area was set in a nice garden. The restaurant food was good and reasonably priced, overlooking lovely rice fields and trees! The staff were all nice.

FranceNo hot shower. Hard to get dark in the room in the morning due to white fabric curtains. The food of the warung is unfortunately tasteless with a very long service. Promiscuity leading to poor intimacy (room displayed around the pool) unless you pull the curtains.
The big family room with a typical bathroom. Nice swimming pool. Nice sight from the restaurant.

DenmarkNot worth the price. - Our pillows were infected with black mould. When we said it to the staff, they replaced them, so that was good. However, one of the new pillows also had mould on it, and that is simply just unacceptable. - The included breakfast is very average. - The staff is not paying a lot of attention to the guests and the rooms.
- The pool is very nice and beautiful. - The surroundings are peaceful and problaby stunning when the rice fields are blooming.

FranceWiFi a bit slow, you'd have to get out of the room to catch proper reception. It's okay since it works well in their restaurant. Room walls are bit thin.
Quite a nice charming place, rice terrace view was a great way to wake up. Staff were the nicest and most accommodating. Loved the art vibe of the room, happy that they value aesthetics. Was a comfortable nice stay overall. I don't mind the location, it's rather peaceful.
