Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaNothing, it was the perfect escape from the city life and the central pool was great for the all kids from the rooms to meet and play until late
The staff were very kind, helpful and relaxed, food and homemade cocktails until 10pm, no need to go anywhere for food and drinks. Great prices, beautiful views, stunning bathroom and a short walk to a waterfall (you have to pay a small few of 20000 to use their path and it is well maintained) Barking geckos were very cute and an adorable kitten our children named Jeremy 😻

United KingdomI really didn't want to leave any negative feedback as we really did love the hotel however, I feel like it's important to leave an honest review. Please be sure to read all the good things about this place too! Unfortunately, we had some money stolen from our room one day when we were out. I wanted to make sure I was absolutely certain that it had been taken, so the next day, we searched every bag for it then I repacked my bag (that had the money in) a particular way and went out for the day. When we came home that day, the bag had clearly been searched again as everything was moved. I felt uncomfortable knowing that someone had been going through our bags in our room. Just to note, there are no safes in the room. We were leaving the next day so spoke to the manager about what had happened. He took it very seriously, seemed genuinely upset, and asked if we wanted to call the police. It was only a small amount of money, so we didn't want to do this, and for me, it was more of an issue that someone had been routing through our bags. He apologised many times and told us he would be calling a staff meeting that day to get to the bottom of it as it had never happened before. I do believe that this was a one-off, so don't feel like this should put anyone off staying here as we really did have a lovely stay. I was happy with the managers actions after it was reported, and I don't feel it's fair that one person's poor decision should leave a negative stamp on this place as we had such a nice time and otherwise, really enjoyed our stay here.
The hotel itself was beautiful. We stayed in the family room just off the pool. It had 2 large double beds and a single bed. The room was huge, spacious, and clean. The decor was perfectly fitting for Bali, and the bathroom was just stunning. The restaurant was great and fairly priced, had a good breakfast, and all the staff were friendly. The location is approx 10k from Ubud centre but be aware that the crazy traffic can make this journey 40 minutes each way at some times of the day. There are two waterfalls nearby. One right outside the hotel, another approx 10 minutes walk. There is not much else you can walk to from there. The hotel is in a peaceful spot, with lovely views of rice fields and palm trees. Be aware that currently, there is building work going on around the hotel. It wasn't hugely disrupting, and although they worked into the night, the power tools were respectively turned off, so it was quiet in the evening. The hotel is well kept, and there is always someone tending to the beautiful garden. It was a little paradise.

BelarusThe only problem for me is there is zero sound proof. We literally heard every single move and word from our neighbors. We felt asleep when they did and woke up same time as they did. I sleep with earplugs and even that didn’t help at all. It got better when we changed room as neighbors were quieter, but still we could hear noise.
It’s a great location if you want to stay in nature far from noise and people (it’s like 20 min away from the city by bike). Clean and nicely decorated rooms (they cleaned every day), friendly helpful staff. There is a restaurant as well with beautiful view and good food. We also had included breakfast, which was great deal. If you want to relax you basically can hang out whole day around villa. There is also waterfall right next to the property.

Sri LankaThe air conditioning wasn’t great- some parts of the room stayed hot while other patches were very cold. But not a bit issue.
One of the nicest places we’ve ever stayed. A tranquil oasis of calm away from the chaos of Ubud. It feels enclosed and homely and yet still integrated into the village, overlooking the rice field, so you don’t feel like you’re stuck in a tourist bubble. The staff were amazing and went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Yes it is far from the centre of Ubud but we were aware of this and this is what made it perfect for our family.

IndonesiaThe access to this property is abit hard to find. the short narrow alley will make some taxi drivers reluctant to enter. But it may not be a problem if u are going with small luggage.
The location is only 20mins walk to the nearby waterfall. Its quite remote, but surely a perfect gateaway if you are looking for peace and or me time in Ubud. The staffs are amazing. They are always ready to help us and acomodate everything we need while we were there. Surely will recommend and stay in this villa again once we come back to Ubud.

AustraliaNothing we didn't like! The location is a bit far out from the Ubud centre, which we didn't mind but some might find inconvenient. We spent one day touring the Ubud city area but couldn't wait to get back to Baliwid to swim and chill away from the hustle and bustle.
This was a little slice of paradise for us! So relaxing, peaceful and scenic with a waterfall only 5 mins away. Beautiful pool and flowers/greenery. Immaculately cleaned and well-maintained facilities. Very friendly staff. Nice having a restaurant on site with great views - even rice terraces off in the distance! Our kids loved hanging out in the hammock and swinging chairs. The bed and pillows in our room were so comfy and we loved the unique bathroom, too. Felt like a fancy spa! We didn't want to leave!

GermanyI think the room had thin walls as we were able to hear our neighbours coughing and talking (not directly what they were saying but we could hear that they were talking)
Absolutely lovely place. Great rooms, big comfy bed, great rainshower. You could use the pool and the bar until 10 pm. Food was delicious and the price great (even though its a hotel). Great fresh juices. Motorbike rental and extension without a problem. The Villa is right next to a waterfall and you can go as often as you want after you paid entrance once. The Place is located a bit outside of Ubud which we loved because there is less traffic, more local people and its just less hassle so you can enjoy your stay. From the restaurant you have a direct view on rice terraces which was amazing as well.
