Mosque a bit noisy at 2:00am, but its part of travel

Lovely people doing all the best to feel you at home, they cooked amazing meals, nice big breakfast before Ijen hike. In middle of nature, with rice field all around, sleeping in open area on the nature. Good place to relax and disconnect a bit

The bathroom was pretty basic, and involved going outside on a rather rickety staircase and uneven trail. (Bring flip flops.)

The location had good proximity to Ijen Volcano (which is why we picked it). We arrived very late due to traffic problems, and the owner was very kind in waking up and giving us access to our room. The room was clean and somewhat charming (in its own way). The (private) bathroom, despite being rather rustic and outdoors, surprisingly had hot water. The grounds were green and full of flowers.

Amazing treehouse!! So beautifully made and in the nature with fantastic view. Close to Kawah Ijen. Super helpful and sweet staff. Great breakfast. We loved this place a lot

Toilet bowl took a while to refill.

Beautiful location, well-equipped with mosquito nets over beds. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They organised an amazing guide for the Ijen hike for an great price.

You do have to know that you'll be sleeping without one wall. that means in direct contact with the nature. So the occasional bug is to be expected, but it is an amazing place for trully tropical getaway.

Maintenance could be a bit better

We absolutely enjoy our stay. The place is a hidden gem! Its design is very unique and we fell in love with it at the first sight! Thanks for the host Muji who has been really kind and considerate. We enjoyed our Ijen tour with them too.

The rooms are just so lovely and beautiful. And it was still cool without an AC. The owner helped us a lot whenever we had a question whether on how and when to get to Ijen with the Scooter or on laundry or on how to use the train in java. We did not had breakfast included in our booking but they were so nice still offering breakfast to us. On the last day we had to leave at 5 am so they packed us a delicious breakfast to go. We had a great stay thanks to bamboo & b. We wanted to stay longer but happily (unfortunately for us) it was all booked. We will definitely come back to bamboo & b when coming back to java

This was one of our favourite places to stay during our trip. The chilling area on the first floor is so nice! It has a real cozy atmosphere. The double rooms are wonderful, it feels like glamping. We had to fight for the upper room going up with the ladder ;-) There are two bathrooms, this is enough for the number of rooms. They were clean and the view is great when you are taking your ‘outside’ shower! The owner is vey friendly and organised our trip for mount Ijen and the transfer to the harbour. No hassle… Breakfast was simple but good quality. Staying in a real bamboo house was very special to us. We would definitely have loved to stay more nights if it would have been available!

Nothing really was what expected.

Location in the middle off fields and trees and by the river. Very quiet comfortable for a few nights beds really comfy. Hot shower. Really nice breakfast after coming down from ijen. They organised our ijen trip as well and picked us up from the ferry port so can’t fault them. Person who runs it spoke very good English and that helped.

The water volume is small fr the shower head. And the water heater turned on and off frequently.

Great and unique bamboo house surrounded by jungle, plants, trees and a stream. Great experience to sleep and bath in the nature. Delicious breakfast and friendly staff.
