Be aware that, whilst all 3 bedrooms are en-suited, two of the rooms have outdoor toilets and showers. They are perfectly private, large and modern, and completely under cover, but may have an issue with bugs and/or mossies' Being a "boy's trip" this definitely wasn't a problem for us!

We met our host/villa manager Ode at the airport and from that moment on he was constantly available to answer and accommodate any requests we may have. It was also a pleasure to deal with Kadek and the many other wonderful staff on site. The villa (no. 2) was huge and, although part of a 3 villa complex, private and quiet. The only noise we heard was the happy sounds of children at the nearby school and then only for a short time in the morning. The start of the Sanur boardwalk was only a few minutes away and the large, private and shaded pool provided the perfect setting for pre-dinner drinks. I've visited Bali on numerous occasions for both work and entertainment and this was definitely one of my best experiences. The other two guys had never been before and they were completely blown away by the experience.

The fact that we were next to a school where the teacher spoke through a loudspeaker at 7am each morning waking us up.

The property was very clean and private. The furnishings were lovely . The staff were brilliant- nothing was too much trouble- lovely people.

We both suffered with itchiness after swimming in the pool, and wondered if it was the leaves from the tree that dropped into the pool. Also, the lack of air con in the main living area spoilt the stay.

Met at the airport as arranged. Host very nice as where all the staff we met. Lovely villa just 10 - 15 minutes walk to the beach, shops and restaurants. Pool was amazing and hot, like a bath. Spotlessly clean and great beds, and all air conditioned. Really couldn't fault it. Will stay again if available in the future.

Everything about our stay was perfect. The location of the Villa was great, close to the beach and restaurants. We travelled with a 2 year old and would absolutely recommend Bamboo Moon to those travelling with children. The host and staff were all super accommodating, letting us use another Villa due to late flight times.

Villa was beautiful, well maintained, clean and walking distance to the beach. Breakfast is amazing, you can choose from Indonesian or western food. The manager, Kadek, and her husband, Ode, live next to Villa, and are super responsive. They would arrange transport, shopping or whatever you need.

The villas were beautiful. Everything about them was lovely. The pool areas are just amazing and we loved that every room had an ensuite, particularly the outdoor ensuites! And the kitchens were really well stocked and easy to use.

Didn't realise that the bathrooms in 2 of the bedrooms were outside but this was only an issue when it rained. It would have been fabulous to have air-conditioning in the living room.

Fabulous friendly staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable and relaxing. Entire property was exceptionally comfortable and felt like a very upmarket home away from home. Amazing place to stay with fussy teenage children - they had a brilliant time.

We had a very relaxing time in the villa, cooling off in our private pool, sitting in the sun, all set in a beautiful garden.The rooms were lovely overlooking the pool and garden with comfortable beds. The staff were friendly, cleaned every day and brought us tasty breakfasts, as well as giving advice for the area. We appreciated being collected and returned to the airport. It was the relaxing week in Bali that we'd hoped for.

There was a few mosquitos when we stayed, make sure you ask for coils n spray and pack your mozzie skin spray. The lounge is a bit uncomfortable, I reckon new foam cushioning and extra cushions would fix it

Loved the whole place, the pool was so good, it was spacious and clean and a 10-15 min walk to shops/food and markets. Ode and his team were so polite and friendly and accommodated us with all we needed, our daily breakfast was always yummy with options of traditional Indonesian or western meals x would absolutely recommend staying here

Very nice villa. Such a good taste with art and confort in mind. The management family was very helpful. My child was sick, they help us a lot - called the hospital made an appoiment and than arrange a taxi driver for us.

Everything was perfect.

Our host picked us up from the airport. He brought us back to the villa to give us a tour, hand over keys, and explain some additional services they offered at the villa. Our hosts were very communicative and kind. The Villa was absolutely beautiful. The pictures didn’t do it justice. The true beauty of the villa needs to be experienced. The place was huge, spacious, and clean. We got breakfast and even that was delicious. Our host gave some great recommendations of things to do in Sanur and other parts of Bali. Since being in Bali, we’ve stayed in two other villas, and none of them were as nice as Bamboo Moon Villas. I highly recommend anyone visiting Bali, to include Bamboo Moon as a part of their stay. You won’t be disappointed.
