The room didn't have windows that saw out. My wall was made of glass bottles and the balcony very very tiny and you couldn't see much. So it's a room with not a lot of daylight or any view.

The place is amazing. The bar area and vibe of the place and communal spaces is really nice.

As per other reviews, it's pretty noisy. I visited during Ramadan so in this case it wasn't partying but sermons - starting at 5 am and lasting till 6:30 am.

The rooms are excellent value for money and are situated on the riverfront, which is a nice place to stroll. The bar is trendy with food and beer (including choices that aren't Bintang). The single room was fairly small and basic but clean and comfortable. There is WiFi in the bar and communal areas if you need to work.

This was my second visit in 3 months and the staff recognized me immediately, making me feel very welcomed. Breakfast was simple, fried eggs, toast and fried spicy rice but delicious. This place is unique and the price is unbelievably low. If you stay on a Saturday night, expect loud music until 2am. It was not a surprise to me having stayed before. Great band and DJ.

It was very noisy at night until 12pm. None of the TV's worked.

Breakfast was simple toast fried rice and coffee tea. Nice bar and many chill out areas. It has a lot of character. Close to China town and the river and ferry. Staff helped to carry my luggage upstairs.

Call to prayer was extra loud. Think it’s just outside the property? No sleeping after 5am. Ok for me since I had to be up early anyway.

Surprisingly quiet even though there’s a bar downstairs. Serves decent pizza. Room is great for such a bargain price, toiletries provided and water. AC too! Nice places to hang.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bar that is directly attached has a nice atmosphere. However, it can get a but noisy during weekends as they may have some events at the bar.

Spent first night on a room facing the road, and the bat noises that they play (as an advertisement from 6am-6pm) were loud and irritating as hell. Woke me up once. Moved to another side and it didn't disturb me anymore. Bathrooms also could need an update.

A nice comfy own room with an AC unit. Spent couple nights there. Good value in Padang. A nice bar.

Really enjoyed our stay here although it was very loud at the weekends, so if you’re looking to sleep I suggest elsewhere. Weekdays were fine! The room was comfy and very clean, air conditioning and good wifi. Will defo come back if we visit Padang in the future!

A little bit noisy.

The room is big, clean and the wifi works correctly. Be careful, the establishment is a big bar so the week-end it cans to have a lot of noise. It is possible to rent a motorbike. The staff is very kind and helpfull.

no kitchen to cook, but the bar restaurant has good prices. some useful info would have been nice like the app Maxxim for rides (and Grab and Gojek, which are essential to get around in Indonesia), if you don't have a scooter yourself or want to get to the airport off train hours.

good stay with breakfast, room with ac. if you have a room upstairs, it is good with the bar downstairs as you are two stories away. the staff is really helpful.

The location wasn't great. When I left in the evening, some guys were always shouting aggressively to me. Not the fault of the hotel though

Great staff. Easy to rent a motorbike with them and helped me to book my bus ticket. I had a good time.
