We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

It felt so homey and it was close to several restaurants. The staff, especially Dewi, did a lot of effort by speaking in English to make us feel comfortable. Breakfast was served well. People are so nice. The place is really cozy and the surroundings is just clean and you’d feel so close to nature, a place blessed by the Lord. An improvement perhaps on giving breakfast options for vegetarians or vegans would be good.

The location of the property was right near the bus station and the staff offers free transport to and from the bus station. The staff is very friendly and will help you with tours, renting motorbikes, or laundry. They are super friendly and even got our laundry back to us in the same day for 20k per kg (not bad for express laundry service) The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and always had hot water. The WiFi and the AC were just okay but sufficient enough. Yummy breakfast included with booking, recommend the Nasi Goreng

We never slept so well before in Java than in this bed. But even better was the service- the staff was always nice, helpful and very welcoming. Even when our helmet of the scooter fell down and some plastic broke they didn‘t say anything when we told them. Besides, we were offered late Check-out (until 1pm) after the Ijen tour.

United KingdomIt’s really close to a Mosque that on two out of my three nights was SO loud - once at 4am for 1.5hrs non stop and the other night at 3.30am for about an hour.
Really wonderful Homestay, clean comfortable and spacious rooms, great breakfast, very lovely staff! Highly Recommend. The night without being woken up by the mosque was blissful!

CanadaBathroom wasn't very clean (the sinks had lots water stains. one thing I didn't like was when we moved to the dormitory, I left my computer to charge on the top bunk and it got wet from drip of rain through the roof. I had to go through great lengths to get it fixed. I told the male owner and he said it was monsoon season and that it couldn't be helped. I was frustrated because he didn't apologize at all (maybe he was afraid of compensation), he just said that it happens.
One of the owners (the lady) was really nice and supportive in helping us book excursions around the area. she was always readily available and friendly. breakfast was plentiful and delicious. the overall atmosphere was very resort like and relaxing. overall very good stay highly recommended.

NetherlandsThe people are extremely friendly. They arranged for us a pick up from the train station, hike tour to Kawah Ijen, a motor bike during our stay and a transfer to our next destination. And they were very flexible as we wanted to extend last-minute with one extra night which was no problem at all. The breakfast they serve is delicious and they have lots of local fruits on the territory which you can eat.

The owners were very friendly and helpful. They offered a tea on arrival and explained everything I needed. As I had to catch a train early in the morning, they prepared the breakfast as take away and the owner even drove me to the train station.

The property is very near to the train station and the location is perfect. The whole property is very beautiful with lush greenery and very clean and the host/owner is very friendly and will help you will the transfers and all the tours if you require. No problems at all communicating in English. If you’re looking to book Bata Merah then just go for it. I think it’s one of the best properties in Banyuwangi. The breakfast is also very tasty. Overall we had a very comfortable and a nice relaxing stay.
