It's not the hotel, but for those used to walking and quickly hailing a taxi may be surprised... transport service may be sporadic when needed for impromptu bases.

The mountain views are great along with the thermal pool. A small town is a 5 minute walk for basic necessities. The community is very friendly. The room is clean and basic (FYI for those who want a full service resort). The guesthouse is good for R&R and local adventures.

Part of the access road to the guesthouse should be fixed.

Nice rooms with cute well-kept hot pool. Good place to start trek. You can relax in the evening with the view on lake and Batur before summit attack. Great value ratio.

Far from other activities but we easily find motorbike to rent and we have been able to visit around !

Owner was really nice and arrange for us the hiking to the Batur for sunrise. Location is ideal to hike Batur (no need to take a car, you directly walk from the hotel) Natural Hot spring pool is amazing after hiking and at night.

This was lovely! Clean and comfy and in the perfect location to climb mount Batur. We were late arriving and everyone was up and waiting with food prepared. Our jeep to the halfway point was organised and the best part was Eddie our guide. I could not have got to the top without his help as he took my arm most of the way. Absolutely faultless .

The hotel is reachable through a very tough and bumpy road (even for Balinese standard). The car could not go up so we had to find someone to drive us up by scooter or jeep. There are soo many flies, what is not the fault of the property but an issue in the whole area. However you could not really enjoy breakfast outside.

Beautiful location, very nice and clean hot spring and very welcoming, warm and attentive staff. We did the morning hike and returned for breakfast and hotspring afterwards. It was amazing

I met 2 roaches in the room. The air filter in the bathroom needs to be washed. Anyway our stay in guesthouse was good.

Best location if you going to climb to Batur Volcano. The staff was very kind and helpfull. The pool was pretty cool because it was hot and with beautiful Mountain view.

Very friendly and helpful staff - they organized the sunrise tour to Mount Batur for me and everything went well. The location is perfect you start the tour directly from the guesthouse. The room was spacious and clean. And the hot spring is good for relaxing.

There was a very small menu but what was on the menu was good

The property was in a really good location to do the batur volcano hike. It was also a really pretty and fresh property with a natural hot spring in the garden!! The rooms were really clean and big with a nice good hot shower! The staff were really nice and the guides were excellent and fun :)

the floor gets really slippy when wet and my daughter slipped and banged her head.

this is a wonderful place. very comfortable, spacious rooms. the staff are lovely, and arranged for us to hike up Batur with guide Eddie - who is a total gem. the pool is wonderful and clean. the breakfast was wonderful - especially the pancake

We stayed during weekend and it was very annoying because of local people who came to this hotel to get drunk, scream and listen to the music very loud. There aren't any quite hours and regulations, so at night we couldn't sleep because of drunken people, in the morning we couldn't use pool because of children who jump in there. I hope that no all locals are like that, who behaved like animals. During the winter you have to be prepared to the flies, a lot of flies, flies are everywhere, but it's not the problem of the guesthouse, it's a problem of the region. I think the place is a little bit overpriced.

The territory of the guesthouse is great, everything is nice and neat. The pool is awesome, you can relax in the hot tube with the volcano view. Breakfast is medium, it's better to order eggs than pancake. We booked a trekking tour via guesthouse, it was expensive but we saved our time looking for something else. The room was spacious, bed was comfortable, we had hot water.

No cold water or cold water pool so hard to cool off. Lots of flies in this area.

Loved the hot spring on site, free breakfast and meal options available. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Felt at home.
