The staff of Beji Ayu Homestay is very helpful and courteous. Our room was clean, spacious and had a balcony. The shower had good water pressure. The bed was comfy too. Eateries are within walking distance.

As someone who walks absolutes everywhere it’s nearly impossible to cross the road the hotel is on to walk into town so bear this in mind, you will be very dependent on scooters as it’s not close to restaurants etc.

The owner was lovely and checked on how we were doing multiple times. It’s a great basic hotel for a short stay. The rooms are equipped with a kettle, fridge, tv and water. Our room was pretty dark with a slightly sketchy bathroom so I couldn’t imagine chilling in this hotel but it was fine for a stopover.

Overall it’s good value for money, it’s a bit far out of the centre of everything, about 20 min walk to the beach but in the heat that can be quite draining, however a gojek is only 7,000 rupiah so not the end of the world, TV was good, connected to YouTube and Netflix, however I feel there was a slight miscommunication as we paid on arrival with one staff member and then whilst checking out we were asked to pay again by a different staff member, luckily we had kept our receipt and I do feel like this was a mistake and they weren’t trying to overcharge us

We had a wonderful stay here. We were accommodated very well by the owner. Very friendly and we enjoyed our breakfast. The room spacious and we loved balcony. We had a view of the area. You have to rent a scooter to go to most restaurants since some are distant away from the place.

No restraunts nearby. Hard to find food if it's late. Washroom was small.

Staff were great. Packed us an amazing breakfast on our checkout date. Location was okayish, nearby main road and market. Homestay is open and airy.

I like everything. It was a one night stay so can’t say much but just for you guys to know, if you’ll want breakfast, you need to ask for it the day before.

The stuff was super nice and the bedroom was ok. Taking in consideration the standard in Bali I think they’ve done a good job with the room. Quiet place, far away from the noice of the traffic.

Bathrooms alittle small but all you need.

Beautiful Homestay. The owner and his staff are very friendly and helpful. There is laundry service available. Nice and clean. I liked the location as it was nice and quiet and not too far from the shops, beach etc. Great value. Would happily return :) There is a must try Taco restaurant next door called Taco Island which I'd never have found if I had not stayed here. Best Tacos ever had.

WiFi could be very unstable, we used only cellular. We got half of normal size room for regular rate, toilet and shower were in insanely tiny room 1.5m^2. No cleaning at all. AC can't dry such micro room during the day.

Fridge,TV and kettle in the room. Enough electrical sockets and some base furniture were there.

- Bathroom sometimes had an odour when we ran the tap or flushed the toilet I assume due to poor sewage or being near to the river but it really wasn’t a huge issue and we would return regardless - Dim lighting in bathroom and bedroom but again really not a significant issue

I don’t know how this place doesn’t get better reviews! We loved it here and it was great value too. - The staff were so friendly and smiley and it really made our stay so much better, when someone tampered with our bag at the airport they kindly got their tools out and helped us fix the lock - Affordable motorbike rental - Kitchen/fridge/kettle etc and you could also borrow the utensils/crockery from the hotel kitchen - Great size room, with comfortable beds, duvets and nice pillows. Aircon strong and not loud - Really good WiFi - Good location, would recommend you hire a bike though - Bottled water and room cleaned daily (this doesn’t happen very often in SE Asia so we were very grateful!)
