Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

AustraliaThe staff were friendly and very helpful. The resort is well cared for and beautiful setting/gardens. Has lifts to rooms. On the beach and close to everything but taxis can be called and arrive quickly if venturing a bit further. The breakfast is amazing...gorgeous setting/outlook...great choices all fresh...loved it! We stayed for our first night and our last night...we will definitely stay longer next time:)

AustraliaThe sheets and pillow cases weren’t clean. They were yellow, stained and seemed quite old. They definitely need replacing. We wanted extra water to be bought to our room. Staff downstairs told us to call room service but didn’t tell us the water would be coming from the restaurant. When we checked out of the hotel and settled the bill we were shocked that we were charged $20 AUD for 5 bottles of water! The breakfast was very average. It’s not like we remembered it pre-pandemic. For the amount of people that stay at the resort the breakfast should definitely be a lot better.
The property grounds were beautiful as usual.

LithuaniaThe AC was a bit complicated to control, we didn't manage it. And we did not like the Kuta town, not the hotel itself. On our next trip we would stay here for maximum one night before the flight.
Pool bar is a nice feature. Connected rooms were clean and convenient. Breakfast was good but nothing exceptional. Parking is very large and free.

AustraliaLoved this hotel. Even though it is a large hotel, it was quiet and relaxing....there was nothing to dislike.
The hotel is in great location surrounded by restaurants, shops and beach. Walking distance to Waterbom water park, Kuta art market, and other places of interest.

South AfricaThe bed linen felt damp each night, possibly because of the humidity and the very effective Aircon (which we may put on too cold). The beach was not very swimmable but the pool provided great places to relax and bath anyway.
Huge pool, great breakfast, location is close to main street with markets and restaurants. Awesome cocktails in the pool bar!!!

New ZealandTemperature of the pool was very warm. Not refreshing at all. They could work a little better on sustainability…I don’t like how water is provided by way of plastic bottles. Waste is a massive issue in Bali.
Arrived early and couldn’t check in but when we did they gave us an upgrade to the Resident suite. Our rooms were huge and the balcony was massive as well. Overlooking the pool and beach area. Aircon worked well. Staff were very friendly. Circle K, mini mart, ATM at the end of the driveway. I highly recommend a massage from Iva at Coconut Dayspa 3 which is across the road from the property. Absolute bliss. Although the hotel is a little tired, I would stay here again.

RomaniaThe room on the ground floor was pretty humid (don't know if this applies to all the other rooms) and there were mosquitos (for my daughter a nightmare, since she is allergic to mosquito bites). The beach is full with vendors, that approach you as soon as you leave the hotel - can be at some point very annoying. Could not bathe in the water, because there are pretty big waves, so not advisable for families with small kids.
Staff, location, pool - all very good, the breakfast had a lot of options, so everyone could find something to eat.

AustraliaThe Airport shuttle cost was steep, considering how close we were. There are many alternate options available.
An older resort in Kuta, with beautiful grounds & gardens exceptionally maintained. The rooms were a good size, clean & tidy, but could do with a freshen-up. The reception staff were fabulous & accommodating. Pool area was lovely. Breakfast was fabulous with lots of options available. The location was also what we needed at the end of our Bali travels, to be close to the airport.

AustraliaThe room air conditioning was working well , however not sure if it was on the right setting , as everything felt extremely damp . Clothes that were in the suitcase and bed all had a feeling of wetness in which was a bit concerning . The moisture in the air was extremely high . Not sure if there is some way moisture absorbers could be added to each room to assist with the dampness.
The whole resort was fantastic , well presented and excellent value for money.

AustraliaBathroom layout. Huge toilet was a trip hazard. Worked in plumbing the huge shower was not needed could of been half the size and still large with the huge arse loo places beside that and not beside sink which u would fall over if u stepped back when at sink. Extra towel for hair would have been nice as well. Pillows flat and lumpy.
Proximity to waterbom waking distance. Beach front walking path. Quite location. Size of pool. 2 shopping centre within walking distance. Everything just outside front chemist, massage, quick e marts. Money exchange. Breakfast choice was excellent they even had Vegemite. Customer service excellent

United StatesThere are several hidden fees. The airport shuttle is not included in the price of the room and is frankly quite expensive. It's cheaper to get a Grab/Gojek to get you to the airport. Also, the complimentary photo shoot was a nice, unexpected touch. However, you have to pay to get more than one photo sent to you via email and you can only get a printed photo if you stay more than one night, which I didn't.
This hotel is very big and beautiful. I loved the pool and the direct access to the beach and water. The room was a nice size, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a ton of food options which was great when you want a variety. There was also a chef making on demand egg dishes. I booked this hotel because of the proximity to the airport. Super close and convenient, I would book again.
