Loved our stay at Bombora. Matt, Annie and crew could not have been more helpful and friendly. The views over Balangan surf break from our room, the bar, pool and dining area were magnificent. Good food, great value for money and and just a ripper of a boutique resort

It was a great moment and stay in Bombora. We have been up graded into a 3 bedroom flat and the management team is adorable. The location is great near the beach and the view is amazing. The pizza are really good and the food was good too. Letme the hotel doggy is adorable too 🥰 We will definitely come back. It is a great place that feels like home, strongly recommended!

Super cozy resort with beautiful ocean views and nearby surfing spots. Golf club is also very near. Very friendly staff and welcoming owner. Definitely worth it.

Sooo beautiful, wonferful place to stay! Clean, spacious, unique, relaxing, modern, close to the ocean. Unfortunately, spent only 1 night as it was the last day of my vacation. Otherwise, I wish I would stay much longer! Matt, the owner is such an amazing person, thank you for drinks and nice conversation. We hope to meet again ❤️

Only discovering and arriving here a few days before having to return home. Would have chilled out here a lot longer. Could use as a base to explore Bukit waves from.

Wonderful location, right above beach, close to the waves. Super friendly staff, great facilities, very clean. Highly recommended, definitely will return. Matt even let me take out one of his boards for a surf.

Beautiful laid back location on the cliffs of Balangan beach. Matt the owner is a great host. The staff are super friendly and their food is delicious, especially their secret recipe pizza. All round awesome vibe at bombora

What an oasis away from it all. Magical feel and just what we were after. What a view from that pool. Staff made you feel like you were at a friend's place. Matt the owner so helpful with information. Nothing too much trouble. We have never travelled anywhere and been made to feel so welcome by every single staff member. Loved it and will be back. Enjoyed the language lessons. Food also incredible especially Nasi Campur and pizza. Karl and Dale - Adelaide.

The hotel is in an amazing location overlooking Balangan beach. The rooms are very spacious with large beds and lots of natural light. All of the staff and the owner are fantastic.

Only small negatives as I'm fairly particular were the surrounding area/ beach was not looked after. Very disappointing in such a beautiful location. Also the living area in our room needed a ceiling fan and some creamer at the coffee station in room would be great.

Staff and owner where fantastic. Location and food where great. Pool was awesome too and the rooms were very comfortable. Got some helpful tips on things to do and places to go which was really helpful. Will be coming back!

I can't think of any negative feedback at all. I appreciated every aspect of this resort. I originally booked only a couple nights just to check it out. I thought I would eventually move on. But I ended up extending my stay here for the week.

This location was incredible. Sunsets were amazing looking right off the balcony of my room or while soaking in the pool. I appreciated how close the resort was to all the action, while being far enough away to be a quiet retreat at night. There are local warungs for food down by the beach just a short walk or motor bike ride from the resort, and some local surf instructors.

The Bombora Balangan Resort was a great way to spend a week with a great location and facilities and a step back in time from the hustle and bustle of other parts of Bali. The resort is just over 12 months old and has a quick walk to the beach and easy access to almost anything you need. Matt and the team do a great job at keeping it relaxed and making people welcome.

These are not negative points, just small details to improve: some light curtains for the daytime, as people can see inside your room. More towel racks would be great

The view, the proximity of the beach, the great room and possibility to sit outside the room on the daybed, the pool is cozy. Matt and Annie are very nice and welcoming. This is the perfect stay if you are looking for a relaxed accommodation, far from the hustle, but still near the beach and with some nice restaurants nearby. You can also have a delicious meal at their restaurant. We arrived totally jetlagged and Matt made it possible that we could nap for some hours until our room was free. Thank you very much for everything!

Very personalised experience. Matt and his team went above and beyond to organise activities and to ensure we were comfortable. The food and coffee at the restaurant was delicious. Very close to the beach. New and clean facilities. The hotel really is a one stop shop but also close to get to many other beautiful areas via scooter.

Great location (you can check the waves from the pool or the restaurant, 5/7 minutes you are in the water from your room) , super friendly and useful staff, great food at the restaurant. Matt, the owner, is also super fun and always have great tips. I'm definitely going to be coming back here !

This place is Epic! If you want a chilled out place to stay with incredible views, easy access to the beach with great service - this is it. The staff were brilliant as were the facilities. The restaurant was really good value and high quality. We are a family of five with kids 9, 12 & 14. Surf wise the balangan is good at high tide for beginners and rideable but fast for those who can already surf. I would message ahead if you you want a decent There is a small surf shop there where you can hire boards (a few mini-mals & mid-lengths were available) or foamies on the beach. We ate lunch at the warungs on the beach, nice food and mega cheap. Its no frills and retains the old bali feel if you've been there in the past. We also used the grab app to get taxi's and you can hire bikes from there if needed. This isn't a place to come if you want a blow out or to "walk the strip" its mega chilled and relatively isolated.

The view of the ocean was amazing, close to the beach. Rooms and property were really nice, clean and spacious. Would definitely go here again. Host is really welcoming, helpful and willing to give recommendations!
