the bathroom/shower situation. it was all clean, but the shower was barely working. Also, if somebody is using the toilet you cannot shower because they are in the same room. while there is enough room to make this two separate rooms.

Nice layout, the whole property feels spacey.

Nice big rooms and big bathrooms. The staff is really kind and there is a pool table and place where you can socialize. Delicious banana pancakes for breakfast. Good activities outside of the hostel, for example surf lessons.

Missing a working desk in the private room. WiFi is very weak. Would be nice to have activities or family dinners also in the low season to get in touch with other travellers 😉

Lovely staff, great garden and scooter rental as well as all sort of transport options offered (boat, car transfers to harbour and different destinations). Lovely Banana pancakes. Staff is very helpful and makes sure to clean all areas regularly.

Had an amazing stay at Botchan Hostel! Great vibes, nice and clean rooms and lovely staff. Really social place, but also nice that they turn the music off after 11PM for good sleep. The pool and garden are lonely too. Highly recommended!

I absolutely loved my stay at Botchan Hostel! Very social hostel, ideal for meeting people. The dorms are spacious, the pool is big, there is a big common area to meet all together next to the pool table. Very friendly staff, always available to help. Very good location: walking distance to the centre of Kuta, less than 10 minutes to restaurants, bars and shops. Incredible unlimited pancakes for breakfast. Possibility to rent scooters on site to discover Kuta and the surrounding area, which are really worth visiting! I extended my stay to stay longer, and hope to return! Thank you to the Botchan team for your warm welcome!

A little bit to noisy late at night and early morning.. rooms are very close to the sitting area, so you always hear people. Was OK for us, but probably not for everyone.

The wifi was sooo bad! Also we didn‘t have warm showers in the 10-dorm-room and they often didn’t refill the toilet paper in time.

One of my favorite hostels of my whole trip! So easy to meet people and there are plenty of nice spots just to chill! I kept extending and eventually stayed there more than a week. So many good vibes! Wished I could stay longer! You could rent towels for free (just 50k deposit) and could choose between banana and pineapple pancake for breakfast. It was nice that the bathroom was so huge and there were 2 seperate rooms with both toilet and shower in the 10-dorm-room.

I suggest to add fruits at the breakfast because Is pancakes every day.

I was in a 8 people room. It was big and very clean ( nice beds, big bathroom, Aircon and nice lockers). The location is close to the restaurants and you can rent the motorcycle for 60 per day. The staff super friendly and helpful. Is there a pool table for free and pancakes for breakfast.
